I've been getting 5 to 10% twice a year for the last couple of years.

City, State, Federal Government worker?
Or teacher, nurses, longshoreman?
Those are the only people getting raises in Commiefornia.
Oh yeah, you can make $20/hr at McDonald's now.

2%

Again

Kind of laughable given inflation. No end in sight until people start changing their spending habits either. No way people's compensation has kept up with inflation on average yet we are buying the same as always or more. I guess inflation isn't bad enough yet until people max out all of their credit cards and the shite hits the fan. Prices will come down then. I'll be ready for it.

In November I left the company I'd been with for 16 years to start wit a new company. Old company was getting super stingy with raises, leadership was in turmoil and focused on the bottom line without even faking giving a shite about the workforce, and my boss and her boss were in WAY over their heads.

I left for a company in a different industry, with a MUCH better commute, and a new job role that offers me a future that I would not have had at the old one.

And I negotiated a 20% pay increase.

So in my opinion, at a 20% increase, I'm balling better than I ever have.

I'll get a standard 8-10% increase in March and a 5-7% bonus based on company wide targets.
