I would definitely lean towards this. We have dealt with this in the past, and any changes in their food causes this. Seems some dogs can eat anything and be be perfectly fine, while others will poo blood if you make a minor change.
I would continue with bland diet, and either stay on that permanently, or if you do change, make it very slowly by mixing food in more over time.

I have always loved Simmons. Good selection, good prices, and one of the few places where the guys working the gun counter don't act like they're Jerry Miculek and you're some idiot who has never seen a gun before. :lol:
