Any of you talk to medical wokers who are actually treating COVID-19 patients?

We had one of those. Told us they were leaving the sex blank on the birth certificate and our baby could decide it’s own gender.

Talked to my friend who is a doc at Ocshner. Currently 100 patients on ventilators. 250 admitted to the inpatient wards. Hundreds more under investigation. Patients coming in and immediately getting intubated. As an ER doc myself it's pretty scary.

ETA: If you downvote this because it hurts your feelings you're a sorry sack of shite. Keeping your head in the sand doesn't change the reality of the situation.

Yes. New Orleans is absolutely slammed. Everywhere else isn't doing too bad.

My sister is the director of a home health agency, they are having a hard time and are locked out from seeing any patients in assisted living places.

She thinks her husband has it, he's been in the bad with fever for three days.

Don't tell them they are ignorant and selfish, not brave or intelligent, for continuing to hang out at Lowe's and Home Depot.
