Why would anyone waste their money on one of those. A dog that can’t reproduce on its own should not exist

I follow a Facebook group Lone Star Dog Ranch and dog Ranch rescue that seems to have many of these dogs. They seem not to be popular anymore and people are getting rid of them. Tell your friend to check them out for adoption.

Got ours from a breeder in Lake Arthur. But that’s been 12 years ago.

My wife thinks it was Southern Frenchies or something like that.

You do realize humans need help conceiving too, right? fricking idiot.

I have three FBDs. Two rescues, one we paid for. They are the sweetest, most loving dogs I’ve ever owned ( and I’ve owned/own a lot of dogs). Definitely worth the effort to acquire one. They require some effort though.

Anecdotal, but every French bulldog I have ever met, had a trashy owner.

There’s a vet in Metairie who performs artificial insemination on frenchies and those monstrous, deformed pocket bullies (those poor dogs), and other smashed faced breeds. That clientele is disgusting and would fill the clinic on Saturday mornings. I found a new vet for my pets.

I'd 100% go English over French. We have a female English bulldog that will be 11 in 19 days from now. She's big at 75 lbs but she's very sweet with everyone but especially lives kids. One of my wife's friends breeds Frenchies (not in Louisiana) and they consistently have more health problems than even Englishes. And sometimes Frenchies can have LMS like Mingo and be yippy and act tough. English bulldogs are generally much more laid back and relaxed.
