This right here. Life sure is sweeter when you have an actual giver and not a perpetual taker in a relationship.

I do 100% of that, which is fine. She’s great at everything else.

This is pretty much mine. The details stress her out, but she saves and she doesn’t like big purchases and talks with me about the those infrequent occurrences that do come up.

Dime a dozen dude. I don’t know how any person gets wrapped up that much in one arse. There’s many out there you’re just lazy I suppose.

My wife has the financial literacy of an 8 year old, but she’s the opposite of lazy and isn’t a big spender. She just doesn’t understand anything about money, credit, interest rates/interest, financing, mortgages, retirement accounts, saving, etc. I do 100% of that, which is fine. She’s great at everything else.

Your wife is an angel then.

These types of women are a blessing.

Extremely high credit scores aren’t as good as people think… shows debt and a history of overpaying in interest for loans

Got a podna going through it now. Everybody and their brother told him to run from this broad. Couldn't or wouldn't do it and now he's paying the price. Not only doesn't own anything, but upside down on what he does have. No retirement. Bumping 50.

My wife is tight as hell which I liked. She didn’t want an engagement ring, thought it was a waste of money.
Been married 45 years and are in very good shape financially. She’s loosened up the last couple years but is still pretty frugal, does her own nails, only go to restaraunts for special occasions, etc. She’s a good cook so we mostly eat at home.

Nope….women that are financially irresponsible are generally not attracted to me once they find out how financially guarded I am.

I guess that is why I am still single and retired in my ‘50s as a result. No regrets at all!

No. In our relationship, I was the idiot. I let her handle the money and paying the bills. Exactly what you would expect to happen, happened. And now you know..the rest of the story.

financial basket-case parents results in trying as hard as possible to hide that they bad with money.

Doesn’t manifest right away but it’s programmed in there.

Will reveal itself when you have money and are stable; which is in fact the worst possible time.
