Bad credit score, lots of bad debt, doesn't work, excessive spender, lazy and doesn't cook, likes to eat out expensive all the time, etc.
A lot of red flags, but still tie the knot.

No, but I married one not knowing she would be.

Oh hell no!! Wouldn’t touch that with even your…., well you know the saying!

If they're okay with that in perpetuity, then okay. Expecting them to change is stupid.

That is a huge hurdle of life that makes success impossible. Though I’d argue that picking the wrong wife is less of a blunder than getting divorced. Both are bad, but one might be worse.

The lazy part would be the biggest issue… because even though she may be hot today, that won’t last long. Plus, she’s gotta look hot in front of everyone I know so they understand why I put up with it.

This doesn’t sound worth the trouble at all to deal with
I’d rather just remain single

I don’t know about disaster but she had the financial intelligence of a 14 year old. We are no longer married but she hadn’t saved anything for retirement, always in debt despite making good money. She refused to share her finances bc she didn’t want me judging what she spent her money on.
I found out after we split that in a past life she’d had a vehicle repossessed and had a problem paying her bills.
There were signs in the beginning but either I ignored them or she was really good at hiding them.

When I met my wife she had like a 550 credit score. We were still young and mine wasn't great but it was way better than that. I got a credit card and we started building credit. Been married 17 years and her credit is better than mine now lol. Both close to 800 though

Sometimes the signs are more subtle . . . .

Yeah, it was a life lesson. She hid a lot from me in regard to her views on money.

Me personally, no.
I got lucky.
But I have seen it many many times
