You kind of stole my snarky comment. I couldn't do this shite, but I would be shocked if anyone who legit thought they could be a SEAL couldn't crush the requirements. I expect most are much more in line with the ideal.

Where a bunch of dudes sitting on their phone at midnight have no problems at all meeting navy seal requirements.

Easily? In 2 minutes, no you can’t.
I know with 100% certainty that I would get 100 pushups in 2 minutes.

There isn’t a person on here who could get that optimum under actual BUD/S testing conditions. Maybe in a sterile gym and pool counting your own reps and so forth, it’s probably feasible for a few with a fair bit of training.
I assume that it’s a lot like Ranger school where RI’s who got into it with the girlfriend or wife came to work pissed off that morning and all you hear is a chorus “DOESN’T COUNT!” “LOWER”!” “NO!” over and over.
Also, it’s 90 degrees with 70% humidity at 7 in the morning and all of the testing is outside. Also, you get maybe 2 minutes in between tests except the run.

Sounds like my gym. Sign me up

I know I could get minimum since I swim 3200 in the Diversion in about 26 minutes
Not to be a dick but you don’t swim 3200 yards in 26 minutes lol.

At my age that would be a challenge with the time limits. I am a very good swimmer so that would be the easy part.

We had to swim a mile in a flight suit for aircrew training, that sucked.

I don’t think I would ever come close to being able to do any of that

Minimum standards:
Curl ups, no problem
Push ups, I'd probably start getting gassed around 30, so could I rep out the last 20 in a minute? Maybe. It would be close.
Pull ups, no problem - 5, rest for a minute and do 5
1.5 mile time is probably 12:30-13 minutes and not likely to improve by 2 full minutes
I'd drown trying to swim that far

I was going to be an infantry officer in the marines and passed most of those requirements. I got screwed by MEPs with my fingers and the pandemic started right in the process of that.

I’d love to see the posters on this board meet the minimum requirements…. The optimum would cull 98% of the whole.

With your midget arms it's cheating. Whole 3" of up and down is all you have, pushups or otherwise...

I could do the minimum at least. Mid 50's after a stroke.

You have to be in the ready position
Similar to the USAF test then... Yeah, I'm not thinking that I could knock out 10 pull-ups then.

How long of a break do you get between the various sets? If I could rest ten minutes after each (maybe 30 minutes after the swim) I could do that now, without preparing, at 60 years old.

The 50 push-ups/sit-ups are even easier than that.

I run at least 5 miles almost every day and I'm not sure I could do an 8 minute 50 second 1.5 mile run. Now 10:30 would be fairly easy for me, but 8:50 is really freaking tough even for veteran runners.

Well aerobic and anaerobic are different energy systems so that's not that surprising
