its happening right now and is most likely the main reason why flu numbers are so low worldwide (we saw low flu numbers in the southern hemisphere this summer as well)

Believe it or not, social distancing, everyone washing their hands and/or carrying around a bottle of sanitizer, and people wearing masks, has slowed the spread of the flu and cold.
Very easy answer.
Do you remember Elementry school when you had the class on washing hands, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, and don’t frick dirty hookers?
It does work, just not for the Rona as much.

Well then, once everyone is vaccinated we can all just wear mask and no one will have to get the flu shot next year right? Oh wait, big pharma won’t make any money then so another strain will have to magically appear I guess.

Maybe the flu vaccine hit the nail on the head this year. Sometimes they don't get it exactly right.
