Another female guard at Elayn Hunt Prison arrested.

This seems to be once a month lately.

ST. GABRIEL, La. (WAFB) - The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a prison employee at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center Thursday and charged her with malfeasance in office, a felony.
Shunnikquer Gauldern, 24, a Lieutenant at Elayn Hunt was arrested and accused of speaking with an inmate over a contraband cell phone.
Arrest documents say there were several photos of EHCC Lieutenant Shunnikquer Goulden FaceTiming with inmate Tory Clark.
During the investigation, arrest reports note Goulden admitted to speaking on the phone with Clark and did not report it.

Prison guards should make 2-3x as much and I don't think you'd have this problem. You get what you pay for. I'm pretty sure we can do less Mississippi River bridge studies over the next few years and give them a raise.

I think this makes 20 Elayn Hunt employees arrested since the beginning of the year.
