When the 5-0 showed up at my house because of something I posted on here I realized that the idea of anonymity on the Internet was laughable.

I'm one of the less anonymous dudes on here. I'm really popular in Baton Rouge and love posting pictures of myself bc I think I look GOOD.

Between the members, plus all the lurkers, I wouldn't be so sure about that. But then again, I have very little faith in humanity. Even if there's not one malicious person hanging around occasionally, I'm pretty sure there's at least a nut job or 3.

I know one or two people on this site who know who I am in real life. Not too sure about anybody else though. I thought this thread was pretty good.. The OP made a bunch of good points and I agree with him

I'm guessing some people have real jobs, and if a lurker boss is on here and sees them posting during business hours, it wouldn't be a good thing.
If changing jobs and your identity is known here, the people interviewing/vetting you for the new job can just google your name and see if you would hit it, if you would put it in her butt, if you didn't do nothing, if you are hardlegging, your tipping habits, and other things that you don't want a potential employer to know.

As far as being anonymous, I've always said I don't care if people know who I am but I don't want my picture or name posted on the site.
1. There are a lot of lurkers, so who knows who is seeing everything.
2. I'm well aware I am not an OT10, don't need the people here to reinforce that by picking my looks apart.
