This doesn't appear to impact the kids this age who go to South Plaquemines or Phoenix schools.
While high schools are of different physical sizes, if 900 kids is too big to social distance, that's not looking good for a lot of the 4A and 5A high schools in the state.

Yep. You may as well shut down the economy if elementary schools are online this year, as plenty of parents won't be able to work.

Lots of kids did absolutely nothing when the schools shut down. They are not prepared for full time online learning.

My 7th grader could stay home all day and would probably pay attention to "most" of her online learning.
No way in hell could my 4th grader do that without adult supervision. She could stay home by herself for a few minutes here, but not all day, every day.

Can confirm, I work from home and have seen packs of kids just dicking around on a random Tuesday afternoon outside. These kids haven't done any meaningful learning since maybe February.
