You people than don’t think it’s fair that your kids can’t go back to school need to check your thin privilege for not being scared of coronavirus and also being able to get a gf. Some of us members of the people of size community have been tortured and mocked by females our entire lives

If I would have been stuck home with the kids all day, life would have been 4 times as easier with the school stuff.

If we go to at home school again this year, two things will change in my house:
1. All hands on deck to do schoolwork during the day (grandparents will get involved in more than just babysitting).
2. I'm pulling them out of Catholic School and we're just gonna go the public school route. Because at that point, the tuition I'm paying is not worth it.
#2 will probably be widespread and you'll see a lot of private schools go out of business.

A person I know is a teach at Catholic High-New Iberia Haircuts, and I was told they are preparing to alternate teaching groups of kids in a classroom, while others are doing home schooling.

Our Catholic high school that my son attends will attend school. They will require mask and take some extra precautions.
The funniest thing they said is that they are going to have 10 thermometers spread throughout the main entrances. 1400 kids arriving each day. Have fun pulling off those temp checks in a timely manner.

Don't quote me on this but this looks like to be the plan in Louisiana.
My district is going K-5 traditional 5 days a week and 6-12 hybrid with 2 days a week face to face and 2 days hybrid, the days the older kids are home will be getting a live stream of the actual class

The wealthy families are gonna hire a full time tutor/teacher to come to their home 5 days a week to teach little Bart, while the soccer mom that don’t work, hops in the Land Rover and continue to play tennis and go to the gym 5 days a week.
Whereas the regular middle, two parent working class is gonna be in a real bad bind.
