Berkeley campus didn’t seem to be particularly dangerous.

I was robbed at gunpoint at Grant and University, so about a block from the police station and 3 over from the campus. Cops told me at the start of every semester Oakland and Richmond trash come in and steal all the new mackbooks the kids are walking around with.

Any list of most dangerous college campuses with LSU left out of the top 20 is shite . And I’m an alum and diehard fan.

It must be actual on campus crime (and not even 1 foot off campus).

I also don’t trust that LSU accurately reports the numbers.

Are they still counting the fatalities at the collapsed bon fire against A&M?

Colorado and Boulder? So mellow I'm not sure if they'd notice.

Maryland: decades ago I spent the summer there taking one year of a foreign language. It was civilized. Two years ago we were nearby and the place has changed so much since the city encroached on it and then the city things started being less well kept. I couldn't find the buildings our classes were in and the nice open spaces had buildings, lots of buildings.

HBCU’s must have their own list. You know how they like to be separated.

There are 3 options for this list:

1) Methodology is shite.

2) Lots of schools are not properly reporting crime stats.

3) Both (most likely)

A&M is arguably the safest on the list

I wouldn’t think there’s enough testosterone in Berkeley to be dangerous.

Tulane and Loyola are pretty safe. The schools are surrounded by the big money.....Audubon Place, State street Audubon Park across the street. What gets me is that Fordham is not on the list. It's in the North Bronx and although not the South Bronx, you could get yourself in real trouble up there. Used to be heavily Italian back in the 50s and into the late 60s....it's not that anymore.

Propaganda is reaching new levels of stupidity. List has to be satire.

Their campuses are relatively small. Most of the crime happens just off campus.

USC is in Watts

Technically Watts (and Compton) are about 20 mins south of the USC campus and the campus is directly adjacent to Skid Row.

There has to be a source for this if real beyond just writing per the US department of education near the top. Where did this image come from? If some random ibb image it’s definitely made up. If you uploaded to ibb you must have the original source.

Honestly can’t see A&M as number 1. We went there to look and walked around at night, and the biggest danger at night was families riding those rental electric bikes around at night. A gang of indian american families having fun riding around the campus does not seem to be as dangerous as what visits LSU from the north. LSU has had a honor dorm brawl, fights in the street due to road rage, shootings during 2 game days, student murdered off campus, and another student raped and left to run over and killed leaving a off campus college bar, and they don’t make it in the top 20???

UCLA seems strange as well at least for area it’s in. Actually there are several that seem very off.

Do we believe this was actually sourced from the DOE??

We have no source accept for accepting DOE being written close to the top of the image.
