Whatever makes their stock price continue to go up, I'm all for it.

Honestly, AI and entities like Amazon are probably our best bet to reduce health prices.

Reducing admin costs and taking advantage of economies of scale are worthy goals

It is silly that you have to pay to go to a doctor to get all kinds of prescription only meds that are completely harmless.

If a chatbot can get you dandruff shampoo in 2 minutes that is way better for everyone.

AI has no place in healthcare except providing pharmaceutical delivery services

People have been going on about software engineers as being replaced by AI, but I think General Practitioners and pharmacists are definitely on the chopping block.

At this point, an AI is better than your average nurse practitioner at an urgent care at diagnosing you and prescribing meds.

Or your prescription is for one size, and the pharmacy only sells a different size, so they won't sell it to you.

That's why I just use Nizoral now. 1% instead of 2%. Still works.

Amazon OneMedical has been my PCP for five years. Their pharmacy service is legit, too.

AI is going to have to improve like 100-fold before I'd ever trust it with my actual health. I don't want the code behind shite like this telling me what medications I need

The VA mails me my stuff. It’s awesome.

Don’t hate on scripts in the mail till you try it. I don’t have to deal with Walgreens or wait times.

When I’m getting low, i click on refill on the VA app and it shows up like 5-6 days later.

I never want to have to go to a pharmacy again with the way i have it

Rookie mistake. Walgreens and CVS are the worst pharmacies to deal with.

Snicker, probably not.
Appointments will probably be at your home. They'll start on time. Any charts will be scanned in seconds, not hours.
They won't miss the second cancer on my Father's lung so they won't cut him open , say oops, and send him home to die before the huge incision had healed.
They will instantaneously ask all the questions and followups, and notice if you gloss over "my joints don't hurt much" and will test to see how an alcoholic cousin's liver is affecting the rest of his internal organs. And tell him the truth in print that he reads.

Most doctors just keep you coming back if you fall into that trap...

Tell that to UHC United Health Care. AI processes their claims, and screws that up too. I know for a fact because I was on the support phone line and the guy on the phone told me so. He didn't sound happy that he has to fix a lot of the issues/errors that result from AI.

There could be some real benefit here if done right.

Physician shortage is a real problem and needs to be attacked from multiple angles. This can help if done right.

Health maintenance / screening seems to fit nicely here.

And all you jabbering about how bad doctors are, I sure hope you are doing all the self care items to keep yourself healthy. Consistent cardio, resistance exercise, healthy diet, avoiding tobacco , and limiting or avoiding alcohol. If you do those things you likely won’t need us much. My experience has been the people that complain about physicians are the least likely to take care of themselves.
