Glaciers are a remnant of an ice age that ended thousands of years ago. Think about how cold it was and how thick the ice is to still be melting. I do t want to go back to that climate and am damn glad the earth has warmed.

That's a really poor statement to print on a national park sign.
Not only is the date very incorrect as already proven, the "man made climate change" statement is a guess.
And I'm not even one who leans on either side of this issue.

Global Warming is real. We are coming out of an ice age. Younger Dryas was about 12000 years ago and the earth has been warming ever since.
