I will say this, driving from Little Rock to OB on Tuesday isn't exactly the greatest idea
I'd actually be driving in Sunday. I was hoping that it would be pushing through by Tuesday. I'm illiterate when it comes to weather maps.

All signs point to a windy and wet 48-72 hours in Orange Beach, starting Sunday evening and wrapping up Tuesday or Wednesday evening.

NO can't even handle an afternoon shower anymore in low lying areas.
It seems like everyone in New Orleans forgot that streets flooded in serious rain before the pump fiasco. Everyone now acts as if there was never any street flooding prior to the shite show last year.

Thanks for the info. Looks like getting there and back will be possible, but going to be spending most of the week in the condo. Crazy!

After 50 million discussions, Im not sure why people cant understand Nola flooding. Those afternoon storms can drop 2-3"/hr, which can be worse for neighborhoods than a tropical storm that drops 10". Even those horrible pumps can handle a normal, steady rain.

The disclaimer on those spaghetti model maps is funny.
What is the "official" source from which we should seek information upon which to "make decisions"?

When will the next run come out?

Happy hour GFS out in like an hour or two. Euro not out until after midnight.
They'll wobble around a bit but we're really in a holding pattern until we see where the low pops off the Yucatan at and how the upper low gets set up in the western gulf.

Would be nice to get a couple inches or so out of this thing

anything more than 4-5 inches in a short time period can be dangerous.

So if that gefs plays out would that be a similar scenario as August of 2016, where the storm just sits just off the coast for 2-3 Days?

Amazing how crazy this board gets over little depressions
Not like we don't have reason to be concerned since that little ole LOW kicked our arse in 2016.
