Maybe she should run for POTUS

Yeah I remember him. I was told by friends who came to LSU from Pennsylvania that he was fired from Pittsburg or something. George Sells of WAFB was a main anchor in Detroit before getting the boot there. BTR used to get folks who were kicked out of larger markets or on their way to larger markets.
This whole thing reminds me of Vernon Roger. Poor guy.

John Mahaffey used to drink at South Downs every day before going on air.

That looks like the other end of the drug spectrum.

How bad is that Studio 16, whispering voice?

It is probably what drove her to drink/drugs.

She was obviously hammered or wrecked on some benzos; that being said I'd probably watch the local news more if the anchors did get a bit fricked up every once in awhile for entertainment value.
That was certainly more entertaining then if she had been sober

My question is why did they allow her to go on the air like that? Like nobody noticed…c’mon.

Producer that allowed her on air should be fired.

She would not pass a field sobriety test.

it was 6 o'clock in the morning, probably didn't have anyone else to put on

Still did a better job than I would have on my best day.

She sounds like actors in TV shows when they are pretending to be drunk, but she is definitely on a Xanax alcohol cocktail

I feel really bad for her. I read that she just came off leave after her father died. She works early Sunday shifts so she might have still been under the influence from Saturday night.

She’s shitfaced, she wouldn’t be as perky or talking as fast if she was so barred out she was stumbling over words
