100 men would definitely take on a gorilla. Gorilla's bench 900 to 2500 lbs. Say average man can do 180. I know it doesn't work exactly like this, but 100 x 180 is 18,000 lbs, which would be 10x as strong as the gorilla.
The difficulty would be not all 100 can attack a gorilla at once. Only 7 or so could feasibly be on him at a time. I think 7 or 8 Myles Garrets could take on a gorilla.

So, could 7 unarmed men attacking at once kill an adult silverback gorilla? I don’t think so

If one unarmed man child in danger he would most likely defeat a gorilla

100 men would be too overwhelming for the gorilla. Yes the gorilla is bigger and stronger. There would obviously be casualties for the humans. But, if each human bought in for a true life or death scenario, the humans would win.
People are vastly undervaluing how much 100 humans can bring to the table with strategy, combined strength and overall relentlessness towards the gorilla.

Well they'd eventually hit the ground, and another 7, then another 7, jumping from behind. Too much confusion and chaos for gorilla to keep up with. Someone would choke it out with arms wrapped around neck, other gauge eyes out, other try to dismember its juggular.
If you can blind it, then you're golden.

Distractions.

Wait.
Everything done strategically, 100 men should kill the gorilla.

Well, we know it’s more than one child since they killed Harambe.

If the gorilla took out the first 7, he’d have to do it 13 more times to survive. The gorilla would frick a lot of dudes up, but exhaustion would have to come into play at some point

Unarmed people aren’t beating a gorilla.

The problem isn't really numbers vs. numbers or power vs. power, it's an unarmed man's ability to even hurt or injure a gorilla.
Gorillas have very thick skin, squat muscular frames, strong bones, and an extra thick skull. Man has fists, knees, and kicks, none of which would do much of anything at all. You might overwhelm the gorilla with numbers, but only one or two men can get his arm around the neck at a time to choke the gorilla out (pretty much your only chance to do any damage) and that gorilla will be squirming, biting, and fighting like a banshee.
Long story short, even with 7 to 10 large males holding down the gorilla I still don't see one or two men being strong enough to choke him out without being thrashed and bitten to the point of running away.

Gorilla will bite hands off, claw faces, break arms and legs with ease.
It may eventually tire enough to be taken but my guess is a minimum of 3/4 the men would be dead/incapacitated.
For those in back waiting to join the fray there would be moments when, after they see limbs torn off and flying through the air over their heads, that their dedication to the cause may waver

No, they don't even have arms!?!? Why would you send crippled men to fight a gorilla?
Side note: this is the kind of content I want to see on tOT, this and more posts about The Villages and some more models from Vader.

The gorilla would curb stomp the 100 men. It would be a complete and total beat down.

Is it 100 keyboard warriors or 100 offensive lineman?

My biggest question is what means or methods does any number of unarmed men use that would result in a fatality of the gorilla?
I’m assuming unarmed means they don’t get to grab a rock or tree branch to use as a weapon.
Do enough men succumb to the gorilla so it gets worn down and they eventually stomp on its head enough to kill it?
I just don’t see it.
Advantage: Gorilla
