That is the literal opposite of how vaccines work, by introducing lingering antigens that activates memory B cells.
This is going to require super strong adjuvants which have been proven unsafe. Weak reaction = stronger adjuvants.

There is some debate as to what makes someone asymptomatic. If viral load (quantity of virus) is a key factor then technically once immunity wears off that same person could have different outcomes to covid-19.
Also, just because you don't have antibodies detectable by blood test after previous exposure does not mean your body doesn't have the tools to fight off re-infection.

Who gives a shite about herd immunity at this point? I don’t give a damn about immunity. I give a shite about moving on with our lives because this virus isn’t going to change us anymore. We need to work on moving back to ‘normal’. You are right, herd immunity may not be reached. But once we get to the point of having enough people ‘immune’ our healthcare system won’t be overwhelmed by this anymore we are on the downhill slope.
That’s the only realistic goal we should have in sight right now. Not immunity. Let’s take a couple of steps in the right direction before planning on running a marathon.

Well I’m not sorry Hospital admins have started to play politics because Covid loses them money when they can’t do elective surgery. Therefore, yes we don’t know if they are talking to help their pocket book or actual truths.
I don’t know of a single person that things this is a hoax. I know many that refuse to be told to do absurd things because portions of the government are scared and over reacting. That’s even putting politics aside, I just feel like a lot of politicians are making horrible decisions out of fear for their own lives due to the virus or fear of their elections.

I mean, if exposure to the actual virus isn't good enough to build immunological "memory," but exposure to an inactive/dormant strand of the virus in the form of a vaccine is enough, I'm lost on how vaccines work. Maybe I misunderstood when learning about immunology?
This study seems flawed or the logic/justification for a vaccine is not solid.
EVERYTHING seems like speculation right now, and I am not willing to inject myself with a rushed dose of some concoction called a vaccine.

So there is herd immunity for every other virus but this one. Total BS. I recently talked to someone at work that has an advanced microbiology degree an wrote papers on pandemics. Out of all the misinformation, he said this no/limited immunity is the biggest lie.
