I lived there in 91 & 92 I lived at the end of the hallway and remember those guys doing the slip and slide. Their drunk asses would slam into the wall right outside my door. I can’t imagine the funk that was on those hallway floors. Kirby was a definite college experience. RIP

That’s a cool looking building and all, but I wouldn’t trade my time in Kirby for anything. We had a blast in the deluxe apartment in the sky.

Where do these kids park there cars who live in these new dorms? Looks like all the old Kirby smith parking lot which used to commuter parking in now dorms without parking.

Haha. I talked to some of my old suitemates and their kids used to live in Kirby back in 2014-2015. Apparently, they have installed a scan card system in the elevators. The odd part is to get to the 14th floor was to press the button for the 14th floor 14 times. Also, the rooftop access and elevator service door was right in front of the elevators, the first door to the left after exiting the right most elevator. Some cool findings indeed.
