Ric Rude and Curt Henning are criminally underrated. Both excelled on the mic and make anyone look good in the ring

Live in Dallas, my kids have played multiple games on the Stars practice ice. My comment was more you can’t just pull the court up in a new arena up and put it back quickly, It’s a couple of hours process. The basketball teams need a practice court each, the ice hockey team needs a sheet, assuming the hugest rated team of the group to use the arena would want it setup for gymnastics too. That’s a lot of teams fighting over the space. TCU, SMU, UNT and DBU all have teams, they all play at a local rink, not on campus. As much as I love BR I don’t see it supporting a rink and teams to fill it when there is not one to play. The stars have 6 local rinks and are building a 7th. Each has a local and select team so that makes 2 leaders where you don’t have to travel out of the metro area. At absolute best you get a team in Nola, BR and Laf. Also the hs team in Shreveport comes over to DFW every other weekend and plays 2 games a day in that league. Sorry I just don’t see it working but partly I would love for my kids to play hockey at LSU but partly the experience of it seems like a beating and I want them to play somewhere that’s more invested, not just saying it because there is a rumor about an nhl team potentially coming to town. And on that note I love the saints but no way Mr B was or Miss Gayle is dropping the money on investing in the youth program that it takes to make a team long term successful.

LSU has a club team already. The ACHA club teams have been growing rapidly both in number and skill. With The recent rule change by the NCAA that lets players from the Canadian Junior leagues retain eligibility there will be a glut of really good players without a place to play on scholarship.
Honestly sharing the arena with basketball won’t work. I get the NHL does it but each time has a practice rink. Most club teams play out of local rinks.

Curt Henning and Ric Rude. They both weee excellent workers and knew how to make their opponents look great in the ring
I work in IT sales, have been at both resellers and manufacturers and at none of them have the commission reports never been readily available. Is “your friend” upset that they aren’t getting reports or the accuracy of reporting and transparency of the commission payment structure. If it’s the latter welcome to sales and be ready to fight your company for what you earned. It’s funny after a couple of times doing that it either magically fixes itself or the fight at end of month/qtr/year gets easier.

I sat next to Jaws from the bond movies on a plane once. I am 6ft4 (low key brag) and rarely feel short… I felt short. He also had on sandals and a Hawaiian shirt, I am not longer terrified of him like I was as a kid

I had a great relationship with my ex’s parents and most of her siblings. I cut them all off when we filed. I am not rude, mean, etc. I say hi when we are at functions together, but in the end I am not their family anymore and I removed myself from that situation. I did not see a situation where long term this would be beneficial to me. It may sound selfish but I rest east every night knowing that no drama comes from this. I sell them a set of my LSU tickets every year opposed to giving them to them.

re: How Would You Handle? Employee spends too much on company card. But is top producer...

My company changed expense rules mid year one year no real rules to $50 unless you had a customer and all expenses on your corporate card. We had a team that averaged 150% attainment. Our manager fired all 8 of us on violations on expense policy. Still have a ton of friends there, he wa demoted to an individual contributor and that team hasn’t broken 75% attainment since.
If this is the hill you want to die on with this employee by all means do it, but are you ready to give up their revenue or pay more to go hire someone of their caliber?
As far as your other employees they will fall into 2 camps, 1 one groups will be motivated and seek ways to overachieve and one group will sour because this new thing isn’t fair. One group will up their game and one group should be replaced.

Book set in BR
Posted by tiger3162 on 4/3/22 at 3:13 pm
Mid 2000s there was a book about a Recon Marine and it was set in BR. He was taken down a terror ring financed by a local Greek and Lebanese restaurant. They advertised on Tigerdroppings. For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the book. I read let a friend borrow it and it is gone. I would like a revisit if anyone can remember the name.
Congratulations Withworth I am sorry you never win another one

For DC absolutely not, but on the shadow staff absolutely. Let him be assigned to Corey Raymond and teach him the Sunday to Friday aspects of game planning, practice, etc of being a d coordinator. Much like O uses John Robinson why bot have something similar for the OC and DC
