There weren’t bathroom doors when I was at Kirby.

The day I moved into the Kirb, I opened the suite door to see my new roommate taking a huge shite. I remember thinking "Jesus, what kind of barbaric place have I moved into?"

I stayed in KS for Spring Testing.

The no bathroom doors in KS was just one of many reason I chose to stay in Power Hall during my Freshman year.

Power was a blast. We didn't really need to sneak girls in -- we just brought them through the back door by the parking lot. Our RA had his girlfriend practically living with him so it's not like he was going to say anything.

The back door at Power was great.

Ha Ha Pentagon outlasted the new modern air conditioned Kirby Smith.

Pentagon A311 (1986) says goodbye.

We should have a thread on dorm stories at LSU. Would be fun to read.

My randomly assigned freshman roommate was from Metairie and graduated from Jesuit. I walked in on him one day while he was reading a Playgirl. My next door neighbors were a couple of good ole baws from Bogalusua. The only thing they talked about was the Washington Parish Free Fair. They ditched the entire week of school and went home for it. Our RA was a former John Curtis football player. He kept his pristine letter jacket in a dry cleaning bag in his closet.

Freshman year (85-86) in Hodges, a guy on our hall literally had his girlfriend living with him. This was before Hodges went coed. Made the hall bath visits interesting at times.

He also had wallpapered his entire room with Playboy centerfolds. It was quite the collection.

Dude was an alpha player, before anyone knew that term.

In the fall of 1974 there was a suicide from jumping out of a K S window. He was studying for 2nd semester freshman chemistry. Wrote "frick it" in the text book Masterton and Slowinski's Chemical Principles. The guy was into Chairman Mao, always wore blue denim shirt and blue jeans, and blue sun glasses. That course was a real ball buster. My step sister went to USL and majored in business. She couldn't understand how I could study so much and yet only have 3.0 gpa. Then she saw all the job offer letters I got, and my starting salary.
I stayed in the Pentagon. Back then in the '70's it was where the university allowed all the pot heads to stay so as to not infect the rest of the students. It was wild!

It’s going to be tough to tear that place down. There’s enough layers or jizz and vomit on the walls that it could withstand a nuclear blast.

Who creates an alter, finds a super old thread, and bumps it with some weird story about a suicide?

Someone who shares past experiences about dorm living.

And who critiques others for posting past experiences about Kirby Smith on a message board about past experiences in Kirby Smith?

This is what having a profitable football program gets you for all the dumbasses out there that complain.

Oh and 504 here.

Because despite my best effort, I didn't kill all of my brain cells in college. Room 311A.

03-04 2nd floor checking in. RIP Kirby and the ever popular “whore door” where you could shove a nickel in the latch and have ladies sneak to your room...or out.

Yeap. and if you were a high floor number you just went to floor 2 and took the elevator from there.

On the way out the next morning, just take them rt out the front. Wasn't passed curfew then.

Fall 73...actually one of the fondest LSU memories I have is having the window open on a beautiful football Saturday and hearing Tiger Band practice...

Bienville Hall at UNO is the basic design but was originally divided into male/female halves...
