Correct.

In 4 grade I damn sure had crushes on a few girls and still know their names to this day. On top of that, all of them were noticeably more developed than the other girls. So there was definitely an attraction to the female body there.

My point is that you know whether you like girls or boys early on. So yeah, this little guy knowing he liked fellow guys early on, while his buddies liked the girls, he knew something was up.

I had crushes on girls in 1st and 2nd grade. Some people just develop quicker than others. It’s very possible this boy knew he was gay at 9 years old.

One look at the mom and the son told me everything I needed to know. No father figure in the home or multiple. Pink hair. What could possibly confuse a small child? It is bullying that caused this. For sure. So sad. Kid never stood a chance.

I knew that I liked girls in kindergarten and would have much rather spent all my time with a girl than with the other boys. People develop differently, not every boy thought girls were dumb and wanted to shun them like you did. You can't take your own experiences and apply them universally to every one else.

No. I am not a psychologist. I am a psychiatrist with over 20 years of inpatient and outpatient clinical experience and have published research in children, adolescents, and adults.

But please continue with your media driven impressions on child development.

I knew my childhood best friend was gay around 4th, or 5th grade. Became obsessed with trying to grab my balls when we fought in the yard. None of my other friends did that, so I knew something was off. All this after looking at his dad's Playboys in the garage the few years before. He flamed all through high school.

sorry, but that's not an indication of being gay

This was driven by the parents. A 9 year old has no real concept of gay, and certainly hasn't made the conscious decision to be gay. Their classmates wouldn't have this concept either.

This is all on the parents.

If in 2018 you don't think there are innate, genetic aspects to homosexuality then I don't know what to tell you.

Is that true for all cases? No. Is it true in many cases? I believe so.

If it's in the genes then it can only be classified as a genetic disorder. The reason why men are born with a penis and women are born with a vagina is so they can procreate and have children so that the species will continue. When a man loves a man and a woman loves a woman it is an abnormality because they simply weren't designed to do that.

Does that make them less human? Should we ridicule and degrade them? Most definitely not. I believe in the practice of loving your neighbor, no matter the differences, because that's what God intended. But it's a scientific fact that men and women were born to be together so they can promulgate mankind.

Team Newmar.

None of that Kitt or Meriweather garbage.

Back on topic. Horrible story. Hard to believe a kid could be that tormented at age 9.

I accidentally downvoted. I agree 100 percent. Too much technology now. It’s down right confusing. At 9 I was surely interested in female anatomy. Round that time is when I found my first porno mag. Kids these days got so much on the Internet. Dudes looking like chicks and vice versa. I can see how some of this could confuse a young child.

Regardless. Terrible that this happened. Boy should not have had to worry about things like this.

I played T-ball with this kid named Benjamin when I was like 4 years old. This kid walked funny and wore his hat funny and he threw funny. I knew something was off.

This. There are a lot of weak formula kids that choose to be gay because chicks don’t like them

Take a look at the mother. That poor child was at a disadvantage from birth.
