haven't commented on "learned behavior". I believe the vast majority of people were born with their claimed orientation.
Admittedly- I quoted you but addressed several points from the last page or so, not just you

How does a kid in the 3rd-4th grade know they are gay?
I remember two classmates in 3rd and 4th grade and I knew they were super girly and always thought they would be gay. I also believe some weird arse progressive mothers want a gay son to get attention for themselves. The media absolutley drives an agenda. Sick world we live in for sure.

One of mine actually went through a short questioning stage around age 10. It lasted about six months. I took the route you described above
That shows that your kid trusts you enough to have an uncomfortable conversation. I think mine does too but I'm not sure.
To be honest, I think my dad would have lost his shite on me if I told him I thought that I was gay. Different times I guess. I think he'd accept it now if it was one of his grandkids.

I would highly discourage my kids from "coming out" at that age. I suspect a parent encouraged it in this instance.
Exactly. What blows my mind is the stupid fricking idiot mom not questioning the child.
How it should have gone:
Child: mom, I'm gay
Mom: what do you mean you're gay?
Child: I'm gay, I like boys
Mom: what makes you think you like boys?
Etc. etc.
You know shite normal parents would do, but nah this dumb woman decided it was like flipping a switch. Oh and great suggestion to tell his friends.
Makes me angry.

I definitely wasn’t worried about my sexual orientation in the 4th grade
I was too busy learning how to play sports, hunt, fish, martial arts, and shooting guns

I just realized this kid may have a priest or uncle who has introduced him to his "choice".
50/50 this a fake story
No one seems to want know how he died. All I saw is "I found him dead".

Mine definitely would have lost his shite. Probably wouldn't have gotten over it either.
I realize I'm a product of my times but I'm not on that "you're dead to me" shite. I would prefer my kids to be straight because I think it's an easier life but if one of them came out as gay I like to think I'd be ok with it.

There was an extenuating circumstance.
From one story, the mother said he had liked to dress in skirts and stuff and wanted to grow up to be an internet star.
Internet star??? Who convinced him that dressing up and posting pictures of himself would make him famous? I doubt that he went on chat lines to find that sort of thing.

I was in 9th grade in 1957.
I used an electric razor.
The best athlete on our team not only shaved, he had hair on his chest.
We are all different.
Most of the black guys and Puerto Ricans had mustaches in 9th.

The fact still remains that a child took his own life. I cannot imagine the anguish he must have felt. No child should feel that. Fricking heartbreaking.
I completely agree w/ that.
All I was getting at is that there's probably a whole lot more we don't know about this, which led to that kid feeling like he did.

Supposedly the mom Leia Pierce has a Facebook. Maybe someone here will find it.

That father is going to have a 16 year old that drives by age 29.
I hope the kid has a kid by 16. The father would be 45 years old with a 16 year old grandkid.
Good luck with savings!

bullshite . are you a child psychologist?
boys understand that they're boys and girls know they're girls. some begin to be attracted to the opposite or same sex in a way they can't really explain nor understand. but don't get it twisted, little bobby knows that little suzy has something that he wants that little billy can't give him... even though he doesn't yet understand what that is.

Just like a cheater or a murderer.
You are neither unless you actually cheat or kill someone
Someone can absolutely be gay without acting on it. Just like someone can be straight without ever acting on it. People die virgins. Are they neither straight or gay?
