Oh they are still growing it.........except in the foothills of Cali.

I need to know how to gauge my anger here. Statistically what is more dangerous, Mexico as a whole, or New Orleans?

I've spent months at a time in different countries across the world, and minor medical issues have come up a couple of times. Usually a friend/associate will just take me to the doctor, as there is a language barrier. Point being, I've had excellent care, even in some pretty random places, BUT, I've also had a personal "local" advocate/translator.
Perhaps I've answered my own question, but what if you don't have that friend with local connections and knowledge?

Then I suppose it would be unwise to have medical procedures in foreign countries.

To be honest, it's completely batshit to me to have ANY type of "medical procedure" in a foreign country other than an absolute emergency. But I guess that's just me.

Why would they load up and take the bodies? Something about this situation doesn't add up.

They clearly mistook them for someone else or another rival threat. Cartels may be ruthless but they have absolutely nothing to gain from kidnapping some random Americans and the heat that will come with it.

Why did they kill the 3 men and not the woman?

Latavia 'Tay' McGee, her cousin Shaeed Woodard and their friends Zindell Brown and Eric Williams.

They had traveled from Lake City, South Carolina to the border town of Matamoros for McGee to undergo a discounted tummy tuck, according to a sister of one of the kidnapped, when they got caught in the crossfire of a gunfight on Friday.

Could it be that this group was trying to load up on street pharmaceuticals and the cartel robbed them and then were going to try and get ransom?

Some of these border doctors and dentists are Americans, perfectly trained and certified, and just practice in Mexico. Less hassle with insurance etc and high demand for their services.

As far as “carpet bombing” the cartel or other retribution, someone just springs up in their place. As long as there’s a demand and millions of $ to be had, there will be a supply.

I read online somewhere yesterday that the group of friends may have been mistakenly identified as Haitian Drug Smugglers/Mules. It's possible that the ones who were killed were loaded on the truck to be taken somewhere to be "thoroughly checked" for product hidden on/in them.

9 of the top 10 most dangerous cities in the world are in Mexico. The one that’s not is NOLA. Think about that.

To hang them from an overpass because they thought they were a rival drug outfit?
