That expensive arse food has never been $43. You probably had some promotions or big discounts if you got it that cheap. Don’t bitch about you voluntarily buying one of the most expensive dog foods on the market.

Shut the frick up. Purina Pro Plan has the exact same chart because I noticed last week.

It’s been $45 since 2009 basically and it’s now around $65-$70

Yep, it's ridiculous. We finally gave up last week, picked up a 40lb Kirkland signature bag at Costco for 55 and slowly making the switch And, that's 40% higher than I'd seen previously.

There is going to be a lot of hungry dogs. This can’t be good for pit Bull attack statistics.

I’ve been feeding my St. Bernard 1/4 food, 3/4 rice and 2 eggs to supplement to cost of dog food. 20 lbs of rice is only $10 and eggs are cheap from sams.

High prices from inflation will also impact rescues that are trying to get dogs adopted and donations to rescues and other charities. Vet bills are going up too.

Looks like it's time for your dog to get a job.

Also, I love graphs.

24-lb of Blue Buffalo Wilderness High Protein dog food

To be fair you are buying the most overpriced food on the market. Blue buffalo spends more on marketing than just about anyone else and with more issues than everyone else.

Doesn’t matter the actual price. Everything has gone up by the same percentage

Yes, just be mindful of the salts you use. Rice is really cheap, $9 for 20lbs uncooked, you can make them a cup of rice and 2-4 eggs, roughly spend $30 for the same amount of meals and nutrient contents as OP’s $75 bag of blue buffalo.

Just wait, the Mrs decided our pup needed variety, so she keeps no less than 6 different 'flavors' of Blue Buffalo Wilderness on hand.. each in their own container, failure to ensure a different flavor is served at each serving is just not allowed.

I don't want to know what it's costing....yes, I know he's a spoiled rotten critter, but i think he often eats better than we do.
