I don't think it's reasonable to say that the populist right in the US gets a full pass on that issue.

It's also worth noting that Pennsylvania as a whole has one of the highest non-medical vaccine exemption rates in the country at 6% of Kindergarteners (and that's obviously kids attending public schools).

Health Departments typically don't for privacy reasons. Even when they'd report to individual schools here in Kentucky if a kid had a communicable disease, it was pretty limited as to who had access to that information (and you didn't provide demographics when you sent the school notice out either).

Maybe the the focus should be the obesity epidemic. Fit and healthy people tend to fight off disease much better than fat/unhealthy people.
