Hard to avoid when you don't have plumbing and water treatment
Only know it because LSU has a family medicine residency there
I used to be a dealer at Lauberge in BR where CT is a frequent high limit blackjack player. Let's just say he was not a favorite among of the dealers. The one time I dealt to him, I was giving the primary dealer at his table a break. Took 20k off him in 20 minutes. I had to try really hard not to smirk or laugh when he just stared at me after I cleaned him out

I also hate how it killed a lot of people’s genuine interest in sports.

This. Have a good family friend who cannot watch any sport without betting. It's his money and he can do what he wants with it, but it's sad that I can't watch a game with him, and the only thing he's focused on are how his bets are looking
These are some messed up women who have such a weird obsession with true crime. Just as fricked in the head as the killer imo
The whole concept of retiring numbers is just dumb imo
Real question is how long until someone starts firing a gun after being disrespekted
Are these the same ones that try to hand you bracelets on Bourbon st?

These three if public school is a must

The catholic schools in BR and St. George area are very good options for private schools. Other private schools are good as well but more expensive. Public schools are dogshit.

In general, I wouldn't call mardi gras family friendly

But I would stay upriver from louisiana avenue if you want to avoid ghetto. Superior grill is a good landmark
I think it's a combination of the price gouging/shitty gambling rules along with the acceptance of gambling in other parts of the country. You could only bet on sports in Vegas before 2018. But $10 water, expensive meals that aren't that great, ridiculous table minimums, and $50/day in resort fees (plus taxes ) on top of your room rate is definitely going to run some people off

My old man was a sophomore in high school I think. Probably a very similar story to everyone else who saw it in school. Watched on TV and he said everyone was just frozen.
My mother got them back in 2018. Did wonders for her and improved her quality of life tremendously. Was practically deaf before getting the surgery.
