Entirely dependent on how senior you are in your career.
New grad/sub-5 years - one page
Beyond that/management/director level+ - multi page is fine

If you have 10+ year experience, then 2 pages is fine. Mine is 2 pages and it landed me multiple interviews and an offer without issue.

Mine is a solid 1.5 pages bordering on 2.
Of course I have 15 years of experience with 5-6 different companies and an asking price in salary of well into the 100k+ range, so a 1 page resume at my level would be pretty skimpy.

I hire people for technical roles, and every resume I see is at least 2 pages. I use the resume to figure out who has the experience needed for the role, and pick the 5-10 best for round 2.
I dont know how they could list the skills and experience needed for the job and education information all on one page, so I think that rule is different for highly technical roles.

I spent months applying for jobs and hearing nothing back. Cut my cover letter down to three small paragraphs and tightened my resume into a page and got multiple calls immediately.

TBH I’m dissecting a resume that’s as thick as a bible. Keep it 2-3 pages and just stream line your previous jobs,titles, and duties. Too much info can make you see like a job hopper and it mostly goes on how you score on the structured interview

Yes. It is more acceptable because we are no longer printing them. A digital resume is the norm and more than one page is not an issue.

Two pages doesn’t bother me if it’s relevant information. If it’s a bunch of crap and fluff, then it does.

I'm approaching retirement from the military and recently put together a resume for a contact who wanted me to apply with their agency. I sent them a one page resume and they replied back "I know you've done more than that. Make it as long as possible so I can get you more." So I went back and made it three pages. We shall see.....
