If your position is upper level and you have experience, skills, and job duties that require two pages, then yes it's more acceptable.
If you are coming into an entry level position that's going to get a lot of interest, then keep it to one page.
My last resume was two pages, I got hired.

How many years of jobs are you covering?
I was always told not to go back more than 10 years. Some say 15 years but I never did that long.
You could shorten what you have and put a statement at the bottom: "Additional information available upon request."

Very short cover letter. Very brief resume.
Mention in the cover letter that more detailed information may be accessed by reading your body tattoos.

I paid someone to update my resume at the end of last year. I have 10 years experience in my field with one company. It was easily 2 pages. The person was a former HR manager who now does this for a living and she had no issues with my resume extending to 2 pages. I questioned her about it because I've always heard the 1 page rule. If you have experience, you have experience. Why delete it for some arbitrary page length requirement.

I would absolutely not hire someone with a two page resume. They are obviously incompetent and lack the skills and knowledge to do the job

When I got a resume more than one page it really got scrutinized, I wanted to see what this person did that they thought was so important that one page was not sufficient.

Agree, I don't like looking at a long list of bullshite on a resume.
Just give the most important core stuff.

Depends on your career field.
It's 2020. If I'm hiring for a management position in tech, it better be two pages at a minimum.

Let's be honest, it's an arbitrary, stupid rule. But it's a rule nonetheless, and applicants should act accordingly.
