There is no way I would tow anything off of the tube bumper. My bumper consists of a 4” tube, maybe 1/16 thick. Welded minimally to some arms to the frame.
Maybe yours is different—-
The only thing I would use that for is to mount a bike rack or hitch carrier.

Had Sage Sure for Ida, and still have them. No issues having my claims paid. Rates have gone up just like everyone else. Nothing bad to say about them in my limited experience.

Back to top Posted on 12/2/24 at 12:15 pm to Chilton4Bama Ruger American is a great gun for kids. Bought an American Ranch in 300blk to get the short, threaded barrel. Called Ruger with the serial number and they mailed a youth stock to me for free. Very accurate gun for the money.
When did you do this? I tried today and they wanted to charge $175 for the stock. I asked about them sending one for free, and they had no idea what I was talking about. I called the parts line, any info would be great.
Also- the gun shoots great, but it feeds very poorly.
Same here. My bullseye kept back burning up the auger tube. Cleaned the vents out and no issues since.
I used a thin putty knife. Worked great.

I’d be questioning who gave them permission to be on the property. Seems like an easy way to get shot.
This is a stupid comment. Who goes out and shoots someone for walking in their yard with a clip board, in broad daylight, who obviously isn’t a threat.
Back on topic, these inspections are the norm. It falls within the homeowners responsibility to mitigate possible risks and maintain the home. Rotten facia is on of those things, so are over growing tree branches that threaten the home. This is nothing new. Fix the problems and keep her insurance. Easy.

Also WTF with shooter mcgavin showing up in a cameo???
Marketing. Netflix is putting out Happy Gilmore 2.
I’m curious to see if any Axle F stuff makes is into that one, since clearly they are all in the same universe.
Watched it tonight. That it was pretty good. Was great

re: Company car w/ gas card OR $1k monthly allowance + fed mileage rate
Posted by Jj283 on 6/26/24 at 11:22 pm to Wildcat98USA
I’ve had both. Currently have a Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4- Cummins. Really nice truck. I can drive it like I own it, tow my camper etc. I do have my own insurance on it to cover me on personal time, that’s about $160 a month.
Don’t have to pay for maintenance, tires, fuel (unless I leave the state for personal trip). If it breaks I bring it to our in house mechanic.
I’d prefer this set up over an allowance any day.

I’d recommend one that has a regulator knob for the settings and not digital.
We had a digital one, the power blinked briefly at the house and it didn’t turn back on. Got home to a raw, room temp roast.

It may not be your antenna. Could have to do with the broadcast strength coming from the source.

re: Mid size SUV Mazda CX-9 vs Chevy Traverse
Posted by Jj283 on 3/6/22 at 7:10 pm to James11111
Don’t know about the CX-9, but we have been having a 2020 Traverse for a little over a year. Did a lot of research, and found that the traverse has most interior space available. It may May actually be larger inside than the 2020 Tahoe.
Another big thing was it was the only midsize suv that actually had space behind the 3rd row when it was in use, and that an adult could sit in the 3rd row comfortably. It drives well, and is very quiet even at Hwy speeds.

My company truck is a 2016 Eco Diesel 4x4. I just hit 142k, I’ve been the driver for about half of that. Only issue mechanically I’ve had is a turbo speed sensor, and a coolant line leaked after performing a recall.
The truck rides well, and gets good fuel MPG. The turbo lag when pulling out in traffic is bad.
Other than that no complaints with the truck.

No. On largest one I can catch two burners. The others I just put my largest burner in the middle. I haven’t found it to be a Huge deal. Just have to move stuff around.
I had an oval on my previous stove, and had to do the same thing to some degree.

It’s all I use to cook gumbo. I have them in three sizes.
I bought some Holy Gospel tonight because I was curious as well. I tasted some when I got home, and it seems very similar to Grub Rub. Anyone else find this to be true?
New In Box Generator - long term storage
Posted by Jj283 on 1/9/22 at 10:47 am
After Ida, I purchased a 3500 Predator Generator as a backup. I ultimately ended up not needing to use it; but I am going to keep it. It is still in the box as it came from the store.
Do the experts of the OB recommend storing it as is with no fluids? That’s what I was leaning towards, just looking for other opinions.

re: Yellowstone season 4, season long thread.

What a shite episode.
We researched all of the smaller 3 row SUVs last year. We went with a Traverse. It has the largest interior space of all of them. Has the most usable cargo space when the 3rd row is being used as well.
I wish we could have found one without black interior. That’s the only thing we don’t like because everything shows up on the black. Otherwise, no regrets. We got the RS package, it house pretty much all the bells and whistles besides adaptive cruise control, and a simple roof.
