the over-the-top misinformation ‘medical’ legalization push over the last decade removed the stigma and had a whole generation of kids wrongly thinking weed is beneficial.

When it’s the opposite. Trashy hippie pot heads should be ashamed.

do we know this was over a kid trying to buy weed or are we just trusting what the OP said and running with it?

Well, we do know it’s very unlikely a teenage boy was simply taking the trash out at 11PM in southdowns and just so happened to be confronted by a homicidal maniac looking for someone to shoot in the face.

I have next to zero in situational areas.

My son is athletic and plays 3 sports. I send him to private school simply to keep him as "unexposed" to bad elements as possible.
NO AAU, NO travel bullshite, NO flag crap, NO city leagues. Money saved is put towards private training, specialty gym memberships, etc
In all these situations, at least we know any bad behavior will expell bad kids from the entity.

Same way with daughter.

Why a man would willingly expose his family to certain groups that insist on acting like animals, and the parents support the actions, is beyond my mental capacity to understand.

Kids will only do what parents allow...and will carry that into their adulthood.

According to the news report at 6 yesterday, reporter said she saw a video of the kid talking to people in a SUV, then the SUV dragging him and he was shot in the neck. Sounds like they tried to take off with his money or phone and he reached in the SUV, then they shot him. Teen's name was Suhib Yousef.

WBRZ Story

WBRZ story in link has been updated with a picture of the victim.

So true. This 15 year old should have been able to ride his bike to the weed store for his medicine.

They should have a lot of evidence but the culture of no snitching will likely ensure another murdering piece of trash remains loose in this city. Somehow this is my fault because frick yt people.

well hopefully there is enough video to see the make and model of the car. has it been determined that it was in fact a drug deal gone bad? WBRZ said he was taking out trash in video and the suv pulled up and he approached the car.

i am so freaking tired of this stuff happening in this city

how is this any different than a 15 year old buying alcohol from a stranger?

Asking the wrong person to buy you a Snickers could get you shot. Use your prejudices (instincts) like they were intended.

They could have pulled up and asked him for directions, then grabbed his phone. When he reached in to get it back, they shot him. They should have the model of the vehicle and will probably get the plate. I hope it's not stolen.

A kid living in one of Baton Rouge's safest neighborhoods was dragged and shot in the neck. Of course, people care.... regardless of his name. Can't do that shite in that area and expect to get away with it. That's what keeps the crime out.

There's probably 200 cameras that captured the car. Wish the police would release a picture of the car so that the neighbors can all pull their video before the cameras write over the SD cards.

I assumed this was a black on black crime when I first opened the thread, but if you actually watch the video there doesn't really seem to be much evidence one way or the other about what race either the victim or offender was.

If this turns out to be some hood rats trolling Southdowns for victims, this isn’t gonna be a pleasant summer.
