That beats what they’re currently working at. Although I will say I’ve noticed improvement in service lately.

Min wages push business to cut wage costs by implementing machines but not everyone can afford to make the switch from human labor to machine. Machines are real expensive.
The min wage benefits the large corporations but hurts the small mom and pops.
How?
As machines take over, the huge operations can afford the machines while the mom and pop has to continue to rely on human labor which is more expensive and thus crimps their margin and makes it more difficult to thrive.

It's been working great in Japan for years.
And the machine can't screw up my order any worse then the 8th grade dropout usually does.
You say that, but wait until you go to bite into a Baconator and it's actually some schoolgirl's soiled panties.

Our local Walmart removed all cashiers and is 100% auto check out

Google has a hard time figuring out things I say sometimes and it's trained to know my voice and speech.
Meanwhile a machine that does not know the voice of these people with different accents trying to make orders.
They are touch screen so your point is moot.

No deserves to be replaced by robots more

Here's the simple reason why - machines only have their development cost and then they're free forever - humans have to be paid.
No they're not. Some company will come along, pay the right people, suck the right dicks, and they'll have a preferred maintenance contract on those machines, earning an obscene rate.
And your tax dollars will be subsidizing some part of this.

A robot set on destroying mankind still concerns me less than things I’ve seen at fast food restaurants.

What about the small businesses that can't afford to automate?
Do better food. That’s not too difficult to pull off.
Not all small businesses serve food. And not all small businesses exist in an area that can afford $15/hour minimum wage. What works in Manhattan isn't going to work in Memphis or Tulsa.

Most of the people pushing minimum wage don't recognize any part of the country between NYC and LA.

employment at a fast food restaurant should not be someone's career. There is no reason why someone should get paid $15 per hour while flipping burgers.

Unintended consequences that were or should have been known by all. Dumbasses.

Much of this reminds me of when I used to teach in an inner city school here in Batten Rouge.
One day my students became really upset when I told them that in the future there would be no need to carry paper currency.
Also they became really upset when I described the prisons of the future. Such prisons would place their inmates in suspend animation for the duration of their sentences. This would save money because there would be less of a need for guards and food costs, also the prisons would be smaller. This made them upset.
I showed them videos of the Honda ASIMO robots serving coffee. I told them that these robots, with more work, could be programmed to make fast food. They were shocked.
True these robots don't take sick leave, vacations, always show up to work on time( they never leave) or fight with the customers or other workers, begs the question of what do we do with all of the unskilled labor that finds themselves out of a job? The answer would be that the would have to be trained in some other skill, but I fear there would be a large segment of that population that is untrainable to a higher skill career.

Lets not pretend that this wasn't already happening.
They’ve had automated ordering via kiosks for years. There’s no stopping automation, it is a natural progression.
Relative to small businesses and automation, it’s no different than how they support tech today—they will buy these services from third parties.

Maybe it's better in other parts of the country, but in Louisiana, Texas, MS, etc... 85% accuracy would be a huge improvement.

Well no shite. What did the Lefties expect? Did they actually think fast food restaurants we’re gonna pay $15/hr to a full staff of people.
They are some delusional idiots.
