You're an idiot. It's the racist street name that is causing all of the violence. Once those are removed, we'll see a utopia emerge.

I'll allow it.

Someone was shot to death this morning off of Lobdell during a DV incident. Add another one to the homicide tally.

Wow. Indianapolis with 246? I felt very safe there and thought that it was one of the few Midwest cities that are showing signs of growth and a good economy.
Pretty cool downtown area too. Thought it was a nice city all around.

To be honest, I’m surprised some cities aren’t on there!
Chicago:
We're kinda within reach of the all time record of 943 in 1992 (the height of the crack epidemic). Lotta ballgame left folks.

Why did you lie then? It was defunded, the obvious happened, they realized how stupid it was, and they totally reversed course.

It's the new MO...kinda like AOC saying all this crime for which we have actual data and dozens of fricking videos "isn't really happening".
It's an incredible strategy to take...tell the populace that the crime they're victims of and seeing around their communities and on video after video isn't real. So not only are they (actual) victims, you think they're stupid enough to eat up your ridiculous lies. The voting public is gonna tell them they're not that stupid very soon.

Mainly peaceful killings....bad people killing other bad people! Net effect if probably good for the country.

Yep. But Muh restorative justice and crowded jails! Jails and prisons aren’t full enough.
Lulz.
America is currently sitting on the highest rate of incarcerated human beings that recorded civilization has ever seen.
~25% of the world’s current prison population resides in the United States.

The sad part about all those "defund the police" and other efforts is the real victim of this liberalism is the taxpayer, because it will all ultimately cost more than it would have if they just supported the police.

Downtown Indy itself is fairly safe, but there are certain neighborhoods around downtown that are “kill zones”. Especially bad around 38th Street, Pendleton Pike, etc. I live about an hour north of Indy and only go downtown a few times per year.
