Yeah here in Columbia looking at anywhere from 1 to 6 inches based on modeling this morning.

The last week here been crazy(certainly not as bad as Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee) and it's about to get really cold too. Eastern NC from Raleigh to coast bout to get smoked. Our fricking water bill is about to $500 smh.

Hopefully 24 hours from now the track gets nailed down. The NWS Charleston briefing basically read "We have no clue" lol. No one knows how much to expect yet.

Idk where you are or what you have. Oxford MS people are on day four without power.

Lots of firewood. Lots of gas/fuel. Chainsaw/fuel to it your way out of your driveway/neighborhood if you need to. Water water water for drinking and toilets — water is having to be shut off to homes due to pressure issues .. they’re having to do it to divert to hospital. These are the things I see people asking for the most.

Lord bless yall.

Thats what the Lafayette city clerk told me last night. For us to respond somewhere without water is difficult but we can make it work. We have never been anywhere with these temps, usually after hurricanes and tornados. If we go to a hurricane area without water we have tanks we can bring and refill some were as needed. Its going to be so cold I think the tanks might freeze.

We are planning on using bottled water (gallons), which we will keep inside the mobile kitchen, to cook with and the tank water will be for cleanup.

We will figure it out though.

Oh I live in Columbia SC. This has been coldest week I can remember, but the ice we did get

We're damned lucky the low went up through Tennessee instead of across the state like it was projected. Otherwise our ice would've been much worse ( though Greenville ended up with over .25 inch).

This is shaping to be a more substantial but still need to wait and see.

We are waiting on the food order to be delivered. We would like to leave this afternoon but it will probably be tomorrow morning.

We have the shelf stable stuff in the warehouse but all the fresh stuff and protein come from Wood Fruitticher and Souths Finest Meats here in Tuscaloosa.

You got any contacts in Ripley? Hopefully cell numbers... im sure land lines are down.

I can be contacted at alphaandomegatd@gmail.com so you dont have to post info for everyone to see.

I thought we had a place in Oxford but I cant get any of them to call me back. This is why I have established contacts along the coast from Lake Charles to Charleston. Because after a storm communications are horrible.

Got out of my driveway in Little Rock today. Took a while to shovel the drift creating a 3 foot ramp where my garage opens.

Main roads are somewhat clear or mostly clear but all others are trash/ice. They’re not clearing anything besides main.

Little Rock Christian just called off school the rest of the week. LR school district called off tomorrow. Fully anticipating the diocese here cancelling rest of week. I just want my money back It’s irrational but I calculate it to the penny in my mind during weeks at home like this.

Heard 3 gas station canopies in Greenville collapsed, one right on top of several people.

So freaking over this. Still no power. Still freaking ice everywhere. At least it’s melting some. I’m moving out of this death trap asap. Maybe somewhere in Arizona. Nevada maybe. San Diego would be so nice, if not for the people. Anywhere but this miserable freaking place.

I'm on day four of no power. The generator stopped working about 3 am. I tried to get it going again, but said frick it and went back to bed. Had to go to work for a bit, where at least it's warm and has hot coffee. Hopefully I can get the generator started again this afternoon.

If anyone has any tips on a Predator 3500, I'm all ears. I've already checked the spark plug, oil, air filter, and spark arrestor. I was hoping to avoid taking apart the carb, but that seems likely.

Post this over on the H&G board as it's own topic. It will get some looks.

Unplug the wire going to the low oil shut off sensor and see if it will start.

Going to have the coldest temperatures in Orlando in 16 years on Saturday night. Forecast is 25°, if it gets to 24° it’ll be the coldest in 30 years.

Does it have a CO sensor? If so, bypass it to see if it starts.

I've seen reports for Blythewood/Ridgeway ( where I live) from 1" to 12". Guess they have all their bases covered.
