Get one at the Express DMV place and pay about $75 versus $35 at the DMV. Very simple. Pull up the DMV online assistant and use the checklist for what you can use for the Real ID.

You can't get either fast enough for a flight this afternoon.
You can get a temporary paper copy of a real ID but TSA will not accept it quickly. I saw someone present a paper copy and they were sent to another agent. They eventually got in.
Go to the DMV now, wait in line for hours, then make sure you get to see an extra hour earlier because it will be a hassle.

Pretty sure you don't need a real ID. Wife just flew without one. Requirement was delayed.

Better get your arse down to the DMV. Make sure you have the right documents to get a Real ID. Without an appointment though you'll be there for awhile.

Just tell the TSA agent you’d like to agree to a cavity search. They’ll let you bypass the real ID.

Texas DL are Real ID compliant...go to DMV and get one

I think some states keep postponing deadlines on real IDs. I think we're one of them in NC. I still don't have mine either.
