Not at this time. Way too soon. The honeymoon just ended last Monday.

What’s the point in talking about a new coach? This shite organization is the problem.

My biggest gripe and maybe it wasn’t his doing but etienne was a weird signing given Moore’s offensive history. Hes never been one to throw to RBs much . Etienne was a terrible fit for his scheme imo. I’m on the fence with Moore. Dude seems like a wimp but I do believe he’s a smart football guy. I know he was thrown into a very tough situation in Nola. I’m more happy than anything that we seem to have found a qb that we can build on. That’s such a giant leap in the process of becoming a good team. We just need a lot of help on defense and the offensive line. I’m not sure any coach is winning with this current roster. Maybe im wrong.

Probably not until the end of next season at the earliest.

It took an Act of Congress to get Dennis Allen and it feels like we’re not quite to that point yet. Although it feels like it could be heading there.

Any real front office wouldn’t waste too much time with a subpar coach during a promising QB’s rookie deal. But we don’t have a front office. We have a luncheon club running the team.

Preparation and Being Emotional enough for fans viewing is nothing the same.

He has to be authentic. He’s got a different style, but let’s just see how he adjusts as it goes.

Moore likes running a lot of up tempo out of the shotgun and I think that is a big reason why we can't really run the ball.

Fuaga looked more comfortable in Kubiak's offense and with Benton as the line coach. I'm not saying he was a world beater but definitely not terrible for a rookie.

Kamara looked good at first in Kubiak's offense as well. Kubiak, I think would use smoke and mirrors at times and do a good job of covering up some weaknesses.

I know it's still kind of early with Moore but I'm not sensing any iron clad foundation being laid. It's sort like he's flying by the seat of his pants and throwing a lot. It's not a surprise the O-line is struggling. You cannot be for the most part one dimensional.

You think anyone fears our run game?

You’re overreacting. I think a lot of us were expecting too much, given where we were a year ago.

We have a young coach and young team with a promising quarterback…

Shough going berserk on my 1-3 fantasy team tells all about what the saints are doing. We have to be able to put together a run game.

The defense is our big issue now though. They are gonna have to hit free agency and the draft out of the damn stadium to get this D back on track. I just don’t see it getting much better this year. . It’s like a bunch of screwdrivers trying to drive a nail. We need some F’ng hammers

a big way to help that out would be not trying to be this up tempo offense.

He should be able to see that the D has problems. How can we fix this? Can we slow it down some and keep the off the field more? Hypothetical.

but yeah, Chase Young is the best player we have on defense, and I guess Ellis is number two? No impact players in the secondary.

You spent the 7th most in free agency in 2025 and the 5th most this past offseason. We’ve had (7) top 100 picks in the same timeframe and (4)more in the top 150. You are 37-52 since Brees left and haven’t made the postseason in five years. One would hope we are past the total rebuild phase.

You’re core is somewhat young, Shough is still on a rookie deal, you’re not in total cap hell and you still have your draft picks. It would be great to have confidence in the HC going forward. People are acting like this is Moore’s first season and he deserves time to figure it out. This is the product, this is the team. You’ve already ate three shitty losses and arguably the worst reg season loss in franchise history. Honeymoon period is over, time to perform or gtfo.

IMO, it is never too early to talk new coach. I don't think the Saints will fire him because he is in year 2 of a complete rebuild, but his deficiencies are glaring. He cannot create a run game, he cannot start fast, and he apparenly cannot motivate his team. These are all things that are fixable, but he has a 21 game sample so far that says he cannot do these things. If you get to game 30 and he is still having the same problems, he is probably not able to correct them.

Changing HC's every two years till you find one that gets you to the playoffs by year two is a great strategy.

This should be adopted for GM's and most players as well.

I think you're really on to something.

This was always my biggest concern with Kellen. He gives off a little bit of a Dennis Allen vibe in that I worry he might be too soft to be a successful HC.

At the same time, this roster is far from ideal, and he's gotten a lot more out of Shough than I ever expected. He deserves credit for that. But these constant slow starts and having to dig ourselves out of holes week after week ultimately fall on him. At some point, that's a coaching issue.

That said, I think he's pretty much guaranteed to make it to Year 3 regardless of how this season plays out, Mickey still had faith in Dennis Allen, so I can't see him admitting after 2 seasons this was another error.
