A+

Why not? We haven’t even seen any of these players put on a set of cleats in the Saints systems. The coaches were excited to draft each one and they seemed to be the guys they were targeting.

We’re going to the ship.

I’ve been down on Tyson but he’s a Saint now and I’m praying the injuries are behind him. He’s a tough WR, just realized he put up 26 reps one the bench at the combine.

Really liked Miller but thought the team would lean Edge (Zion Young) in the 2nd would have been happy with either.

Delp was a guy I really wanted them to get but didn’t think 3rd. Apparently they felt he was worth it at 73 so I’m excited. Pregnon would have been my preference there but they must feel good enough about the Oline that day 3 they could add depth.

B+.

All 3 players they drafted went where they were projected to go so no major reaches. Tyson and Miller are definitely positions of need. There were rumors weeks ago that the Saints liked Delp and might target him in rnd 3.Tyson's injury history keeps it from being an -A.

I’m going to say B. I understand the Tyson pick because shough need weapons badly but I’ve been a big Caleb downs guy and have stated many times here that I think he’s the best player in the draft, also felt like DE and LB are bigger needs than WR. However I’ve really liked the 2nd and 3rd round picks. Delp is a future star in Moore Offense.

It’s contingent on two of our picks doing things they didn’t actually do in college: Tyson staying healthy for more than a third of the games and Delp actually being a productive part of the offense.

I would’ve preferred a more conservative approach with the first three picks.

We filled positions of need with properly valued picks.

Tyson was an A

Miller was a B- for me. I would have liked Young or Terrell better.

Delp was also a B- for me. He had a day 3 grade. Could have packaged both 4th rounders for him and still drafted Pregnon or Haulcey in the 3rd.

But I do like all three players. Team is slowly getting better.

Hoping for 9-8 or 10-7 this year.

It’s definitely an A. They picked great players in their respective positions, all to fill positions of need. You cant do more than that. Every draft pick is a gamble. No one knows what they will do once in the pros. I’ll point out all of the KC fans mad when they drafted Mahommes. All the Buffalo fans mad when they drafted Josh Allen. No one in NOLA knew anything about Kamara when we picked him up I think as a relatively unknown 3rd rounder. All we can expect the front office to do is to pick what appears to be strong players in positions of need and hope for the best.

NFL scout grades are different than analysts grades. Two tight ends went after Delp. I highly doubt he would have been available in the 4th. Delp was underrated because he wasn’t heavily utilized at Georgia but was late riser for his elite athletic profile.

A. We desperately needed targets to grow with TS. We needed run defense help badly. Bresee, Broughton and this guy are very good young interior

A-

Jordyn Tyson- A
The Saints will pair Jordyn Tyson with Olave at WR. Although it may be risky due to injury history, it is also a perfect fit and nightmare matchup for defensive backs.

Christen Miller- A+
Seen as a run stopping force/ line mover, Miller can have an immediate and much needed impact on the D line. His ability to attract double teams, hold his ground, and chase RBs across the line is something the Saints desperately need.

Oscar Delp- A
Possibly the most complete TE in the draft. Elite blocker which will give him the opportunity for minutes on the field and allow the Saints to maximize the run game, play action, and additional schemes. High motor, good blocker, and high level receiving abilities that only few TE's posses.

Saints have not addressed the biggest need at CB whether its upgrading outside CB or addressing Nickel. This is why I applied an (A-).

Its clear the Saints are focused on the best fit, highest ceiling, highest motor, and highest impact opposed to strict RAS ratings or other metrics.

I knew enough about him to be happy that we got him in the third but I remember my brother and BIL being chapped that we took him

Love our players and think they’re great picks but still need a CB. Could go up to an A if they land a solid depth piece in the secondary and some interior OL depth

They need a CB bad because I'm not sold on Kool Aid and I don't even know who's on the other side. A safety too.
