Yeah refs stole that one. If Shough would have just been serviceable in the first 2.5 quarters we cruise in that game. Glad to see him get his shite together though. He’s not all to blame though. Our offense can’t pick up a blitz or pass block for crap.

What if Goff decided to tuck it instead of throw?? Happens all the time after a QB starts his motion
But even arguing about this feels stupid because there are 1,000 ways to dispute it and none to defend it

It’s bullshite cause they are hiding the main word of intent… intent of a FORWARD HAND MOTION!!!!!

Why why isn’t the question asked, “but the ball went backwards” A backwards pass is a fumble. What possible answer can there be?

He threw the fricking ball backwards
What are we doing here
It changed the game!

How many times has this happened and NEVER been called?

So basically as soon as the hands separate as part of the windup. Let’s please bring up the thousands of examples that disprove this over the years. Is this a new rule this year?

He threw nothing. He lost possession of the ball before a forward throwing motion.

What happens if the QB starts his throwing motion then tucks and runs. When did that intent change? Can I ask for a neurological or psychological test be performed on the QB during the official review? What is their definition of intent?

It wasn't a mistake.
It was 100% a call from New York to screw the Saints.
But our owner and GM will just take it like they always do.

Correct, his arm was still going backwards when he got hit. I can’t believe this

It came out in a controlled spiral
It just went 10 yards in the wrong direction
If he does that WITHOUT contact it’s a live ball fumble
The fact that he got fricking blasted in the midst of this act shouldn’t change the result

What is their explanation of "the play did not cause the injury call" which cost us a critical time out?
Posted on 9/13/26 at 6:07 pm to Kinderman
It's horseshite. If the ball goes backwards, it's a lateral.

It was not a controlled ball. He lost possession and Chase hammered Goff’s arm downward which created a spiral effect on the ball.

Here’s another one guys… pump fakes? Don’t exist? Outlawed?

He didn’t intend on being blasted though, he intended on throwing the football
