Carr sucks

this is simply not a complete true statement.

nd his contract is worse,

his contract is fair value in today's qb contract market place.

but the alternative option, somehow, was more -EV.

You don’t have to tank or strip it down to the studs.

You do have to hit on your draft picks and be deliberate with signings. Kind of like the Rams.

The part that concerns me is being more active in FA this year. We can’t afford that. We need young cheap talent to develop. Hopefully what he means by this is trying to identify some people we can bring in on one year prove it deals like we did with Chase Young.

bro our FA activity last year was a bunch of low end 1 yr deals with a chase young splash signing. Saying more active than last year is a very reasonable response while they admit they are still being financially budget conscious still.

Derek doesn't suck, but he's not going to make the guys around him better, and you aren't winning a super bowl with him. The correct move is to suck for one year. Just one year. Cut him, take the cap hit, see what Spencer can do, and reset for 2026.

Season ticket payments are due.
They are not going to declare in advance that 2025 is going to be a mulligan year.

Yeah I just don't care anymore. Tank. Don't tank. Win. Don't win. I'll give you three hours on Sunday and one Thursday a year, and leave it at that. Just glad they won a Super Bowl in my lifetime.

Can I melt yet? Why did I get my hopes up that Loomis would do something different

I don't know why I did either.

Loomis has repeatedly and frankly told us his philosophy.

They’ll continue to stay budget conscious like in recent years.

Translation: We're running a 36 year old Cam Jordan and a 33 year old Tyrann Mathieu out there again next year.

frick it. Find him a TE or WR #1 somewhere in the first 3 rounds, and then load up the defense with the rest of the picks. We have no young talent on D other than Bresee, and a big question mark on Kool-aid.

I understand sticking with Carr cap wise for 2025, but if they planning to restructure all the expensive over 30 guys …..

I want to cut them all in 2026. I’ll wait to see what they actually do to current contracts before I melt.

Good grief. They still don't get it.

Their goals aren't what you think they are.

In Loomis' world, being able to win 7ish games and giving the hope that the team can be competitive as the season goes on is a win. It doesn't matter to him if the team is still facing a 3 year rebuild when the season is over.

WITH F*CKING WHAT?

We’ve got no money to f*cking spend in free agency. Remember last year, we couldn’t even make decent offers to Judon and.Simmons so we lost them to the f*cking Falcons?

Is this f*cking clown Loomis really considering restructuring even more horrible f*cking contracts so that we stay in salary cap f*cking hell for at least another 3 to 4 f*cking years as a bottom dwelling joke in the NFL?
