At one point Carson Wentz was the second coming, and Peyton Manning went 3-13 with 28 interceptions his rookie year.

So, we don’t know, but he’ll probably have a career somewhere in between those two.

He’s a top 5 qb. Just needs to blossom.

That's awfully specific.

I'd say strong to quite strong.

Are you expecting that this year? You never really answered the last time.

I think he ends up being a top 3 qb in Saints history.

I'm holding out my evaluation until he plays teams with a pulse, and pulls out some 4th quarter comebacks (due to his play).

We have to remember how bad the opponents were down the stretch, and Shoughs TD to INT ration wasn't all that great. We also have to remember he has a much improved O-line and some added weapons this year.

Both have SB rings, hmm…

The sky’s the limit. If he stats healthy he’s got the physical and mental attributes, the work ethic and leadership qualities to be a perennial all-pro type QB.

There are a lot of factors, not the least of which are the players put in place around him, that will ultimately determine his level of success. But it looks like the Saints are trying to stockpile offensive playmakers and OL to give him the best opportunity to succeed.

He’ll be as good a this Oline can protect him.

So much of these young players trajectory is dependent on a solid coaching staff around them. It’s looking like Shough will have one of the best young up and coming staffs.

No one would have predicted Brees career based on his time in San Diego. Coaching and system matter, a lot.

Expecting not necessarily. Possible yes. I expect a season where he starts closing the gaps substantially.

If he can be a top 10 QB we are going to win some games. This year is about him playing like a top half QB, and next season should be his year to push into the top 10.

We dont know yet. He can do everything you would want from a modern qb.
Sky is the limit.

I liked what I saw out of him. I was even more impressed as they got closer to the end of the season and guys were getting hurt and they were going out there with practice squad guys and he was still getting the job done.

anxious to see what he's going to be able to do with more depth pieces around him this year.

I would also have to think he would play well if we had a consistent ground game.

My prediction this year. League MVP, Pro Bowl, make it to the NFCCG but lose a close one.

If you watched his games last year, he consistently threw dimes, even in tough places to drop it, and even while on the move.

You can't make all those throws and suddenly be terrible.

He's big and fast with a strong and accurate arm. His best work is on 3rd down. Has top 10 QB potential, maybe top 5.

If he stays healthy it looks very promising.
