All he needs is a Citizen Eco Drive and he will be unstoppable.

On a scale of 1-10 I give him a 6. I think he is an above average QB.

I know it’s not a hard list to climb, but dude will be 27 in September. He has thrown 10 TD’s.

The reality is, if he gets a 2nd contract and remains the starter; there is no reason he should not be a top 3 QB in franchise history.

From a sentimental standpoint you have the top 3 as Brees, Manning & Brooks (playoff win, although many will put Hebert here).

Statistically your top 3 are Brees, Manning & Brooks for yards & TDs.

But "IF" he's able to start the next 3 years, and we assume he averages 4,000 yards and 20TDs that will put him 4th or 5th with Bobby (Bobby has 14,630 yards and 85 TDs).

It will take just over 4 years at 4,000 yards a clip to catch Aaron (19,156 yards), and just under 4 years at 20 TDs a season to catch Aaron (84 TDs)

From a statistical standpoint, he should get there in his early 30s. Pick up a few playoffs wins and there is no question he'll be there from a sentimental standpoint.

Also to add, Shough is currently 18th in yards. If he gets to 3,640 yards this year, he'll jump Carr for 8th - needs 4,604 for 7th.

He's also tied for 24th with his 10 TDs. 10 more has him tied for 10th, 15 for 9th, 26 for 8th.

While this is true, I do not recall people giving Drake Maye the same doubt or hesitation. He ended up a Pro Bowl reserve his rookie season and essentially crowned "the future".

Meanwhile here's how their rookie stats compare with games started.

Drake Maye:
10 GS/ 2,209yds/ 15 TDs/ 10 INTs
Comp%: 66.6
88.9 PR

Tyler Shough:
9 GS/ 2,256yds/ 10 TDs/ 5 INTs
Comp%: 67.6
91.3 PR

Shough being older should make his development easier and more likely, not create more doubt.
