And there's a 25% chance you go to your parking lot after the game and find you and 20 other driver's side windows busted out.
These parking lot owners that charge $40 and $50 dollars a spot will have to start doing like Brothers chicken does off Canal. Have a guy dressed all in black with a ski mask sit with an AR15 in the middle of the parking lot.
It’s the new reality of the shitehole Teedy and the Dems have created. I learned my lesson after the first time and refuse to park anywhere but in a parking garage.

Seems like now IS the time to get tickets. Buy low. Figure out the parking issues. Gamble the Saints will return to serious contention. In actuality they’re not that far off.

No - I'm a Saints fan. I support the Saints. But I can also critique what I deem to be shite decisions like I did when we moved forward with Jameis as starter, hired Dennis Allen, signed Derek Carr, etc. We have snoozers at HC and QB - the two most important pieces of a team.
Being overly positive about the squad doesn't make you a better fan.
Further, being a fan doesn't mean I have to pay for overpriced season tickets that I'll have to pay more for every year whether they win or lose. Compounding that is the issue of New Orleans being an absolute shithole.
I'd rather invest my time, money, and energy into making my backyard patio look nice as frick instead of driving 4 hours into the city every other week for 4 months to see mediocrity on the field and have my car window smashed.

I guess I'm just lucky or have a good spot... I haven't had my vehicle broken into

Saints win total is 9.5. Seems they're a pretty solid bet to win the south. That home playoff ticket could help you recoup most of your investment if it's cowboys or 49ers visiting

Just my opinion. 15 years ago I would wake up hyped up because it was game day and I was going to the Dome. Now it is a chore. I don’t know if I’ll keep my tickets past this year. Trying to see if the renovations help but the concourses are too tight. The bathrooms suck. The concessions suck. I may have my car’s window bashed in when I return, and the on field product is poor.
I was a fan prior to Brees/Payton and saw a lot of crap games in the Dome. But the older I get I am less tolerant of the bullshite. I’d rather sit at home and watch the game on my big screen with my car secure in a Parish that actually enforces laws.
The Rams game did it for me, but I'd be lying if I wasn't getting tired of making the trip. We picked 4 to go to every year and sold/gave away the rest. Not saying we made a profit but it helped to offset some of the cost of the season tickets. I know many people that had season tickets longer than I did that gave them up after that year too. Watching/following the Saints now is weird for me, kind of like the ghost limb phenomenon for amputees.

The Saints org had no problem praying on the rabid fandom of the glory years. Ticket and concession hikes, ticket scarcity, but still shite amenities and parking. They rode the backs of great play on the field
The saints are operating a business at the end of the day. This is what happens when you put out an inferior product to the consumer

I'd take them. I've had season tickets for 9 years. The games are fun. Being a Saints fan and having a good time at the games is not dependent on them being Super bowl caliber.
The games have almost always been noon games. I dont know why people are making a stink about this. They must be ignorant. Also yes.. NOLA is a shite hole and dangerous....but Sunday at noon is probably the best/safest time to be around the dome.

Think people are giving them up based on New Orleans being a complete shithole, I gave mine up also I’m done with that piece of shite city but I wish the saints the best but that is what happens when you go woke and let the inmates run the asylum
We gave up season tickets to some friends. Had nothing to do with the city and everything to do with Dennis Allen. Games were extremely fun and if you sit by a good group you’ll have a great time regardless.
I miss going to games weekly, but with a child on the way now it’s an easy decision. I’ll still get tickets to 1-2 good games a year.

Yeah same nobody even wanted to go half or take them up.

My father in law had his season tickets since 06 and just gave them up. Over $3500 for 2 endzone seats.

Didn’t think about this. One year I sold a pair of cowboys tickets and paid off the entire season. Basically got to go to all the games that year free.

Honest answer is this....Where were they offered? Upper deck--Endzone or whatever? Obviously different locations are different money.
When I got offered I was offered lower level and did not feel good about pulling the trigger on those, so I turned them down and the guy returned to the phone with a pit in Section 609.
1) You will not be able to get one dime for preseason and those are full price.
2) Several games a year you may just break even or lose a little bit.
3) The better games that you might want to go to and the ones that sell for the most and help you recover what you paid. I will probably get $350-400 for the Giants tickets. FV for mine are $150/pair/game.

I’ve had Plaza seats since 2006.
The only home game I’ve been to since COVID was at Tottenham.
I sell mine and it generally covers the expense.
I stopped going to Night games a while back.
I’ve got connections with folks with suites, that’s probably the only way I’ll go back.

It's weird that the people who give up their seats or quit watching the NFL still hover on the board to post in every thread about tickets that they gave theirs up. Weird flex to brag on. Either "I can't afford tickets" or "I am scared to go to the city!!!"
Anyways, it's not just the Saints who had a frick ton of turnover. Last week we were able to move our LSU season tickets (5 of them) from the West Upper to the North Endzone.

No a fair weather fan means you don’t support the team win/lose. You can’t conflate MONETARY support with simple support and say you’re a bigger fan because you put money towards something.

Personally the only games I usually want to go to in person are typically playoff games or maybe a Sunday Night/Monday Night game
Every other game Noon, Afternoon kickoff and especially TNF I would prefer to be at home.
Big screen, BBQ or Crawfish Boil or some type of potluck style gathering, bunch of family and friends over playing games and socializing just seems like a better way to spend a Sunday IMO...and Thursday well no one enjoys a Thursday game...at least at home I can sip tequila and go to bed the second the game is over before heading to work in the morning
