I've gotten to the point to where I look forward to sitting around and relaxing at home.
Work schedule has kind of gotten the best of me and Sunday is usually the only day that I have off anymore.
I used to drive over or ride over for at least two home games a year but have not lately.

As other people in here said, the face value of your tickets is gonna determine how easy it is to recoup. I had sideline plaza tickets for years and I had them because I wanted to go to every game. I loved being in the dome every Sunday when the Saints played. The issue was that because they had a high face value, I was really deep in the hole already after preseason and there's only so much the secondary market will bear. I never made much money when I had to sell. I think you can do a lot better with upper level seats or endzone seats where the FV is lower.
When I moved away and couldn't make many games anymore, I was taking big losses every year. I held on to them because I just loved sitting in the same place around the same people I had been around for years and the few games I made each year felt like a homecoming. I finally let my tickets go when I stopped recognizing the people sitting in my section. Seemed like everyone was selling off or ticket brokers had them because I was seeing road fans when I never did before.
Bottom line: Get them if you want to use them. Don't get them as an investment.

I love staying on my acreage patio with river view watching the game on my exterior mounted 86” TV with a good Old Fashioned in my hand and a couple of joints rolled. You don’t have to try and convince me.

All of life is a dream if you work hard enough. It gets better, just keep working.
Sometimes I’ll even go sit in my docked Sea Ray and listen to the game on my phone while admiring the lawn and back of the house. Even hand-built the deck and steps back there.
But you enjoy those section 628 end zone tickets in the Superdome watching Derek Carr this year. I’ll have a drink for you.

Saints could be 0-17 or 17-0 the previous season and I'd still be in the Dome. For us it's not just about the game, it's about tailgating and seeing the group in the Dome that has sat around us for years.

Every other game Noon, Afternoon kickoff and especially TNF I would prefer to be at home.
Big screen, BBQ or Crawfish Boil or some type of potluck style gathering, bunch of family and friends over playing games and socializing just seems like a better way to spend a Sunday IMO...

When I lived in New Orleans, I would occasionally go to games when I could snag a cheap seat off the secondary market. I never was financially secure enough to want season tickets, especially since I didn’t have anyone to go with.
Now that I live in Baton Rouge, it’s just not worth the hassle and money to wake up early on a Sunday and drive down alone for a noon kickoff, especially after an LSU Night Game (I actually have a tailgate krewe and people to sit with for those games).
Nowadays, I have band practices on sundays and just leave the games on during rehearsals. My interest level in football and general and the NFL especially has PLUMMETED since that Rams game. At this point, my emotional investment in NFL games on tv is one step above background noise.

Let me just say this:
I agree. The Rams game and the way that Patrick M's Chiefs got those VERY helpful penalty calls that launched them to SB Champs sealed it for me.
I'm not sure that the NFL will ever again deem it appropriate for the New Orleans Saints to win the Lombardi Trophy.
I'm quite certain that Arthur Blank and his Falcons are in line ahead of the Saints for that "honor".
