Queen is having similar trajectory as Duke Riley it seems. He looked great down the stretch of last season for LSU, but as others have said, that’s only a handful of games in his entire collegiate career. Not seeing the 1st round hype unless teams are seeing big potential

He’s way better than duke Riley, lol

Like Deion Jones both did not start until year 4.

Queen was a year 3 starter who was also a converted RB. He doesn’t turn 21 until August. Dude has everything in front of him

Queen is a Debo clone

No he’s not, Debo made a lot more plays in college than Queen and he was taken in the 2nd. No way I’m taking Queen in the first. I had him as a 3rd rounder at best when he declared. I’d much rather take Jefferson or Delpit at 24 than any linebacker. I would take Willie gay in the 3rd if he’s there.

In the NFL of today Queen will be highly valued.

Would love to have him.

Pretty sure he did not start until this year. He started a game last year when White was suspended. I do agree he is better than Duke Riley who I coukdnt believe the Falcons took so high. But Queen should not be a first round pick this year.

Blowing my mind that LSU fans are saying this shite. He was average all season? Lmao.

He has great athleticism, played his best when it mattered most, and was getting draft hype before the combine. Yet these are somehow negatives...

I didn’t say 3 year starter

I said he started in year 3.

Jones left LSU with a year of development on him, and has been a LB since HS. Queen has a position change & is a year younger. His projection is different

i think there is a decent chance one could be.

a few teams will take the top QB's

a few teams will take the plethora of WRs in this class.

a few DT's will come off the board. Brown/Kinlaw

maybe a few Olinemen

other than Simmons I don't see teams tripping over themselves to pick a LB in the Top 20? just my opinion.

someone is gonna slide to no fault of their own.

Justin Jefferson will be a star in the league. If he’s there we should take him if not then Murray or Queen.

I love Jefferson and I’d take him but I don’t know if I agree with this. I see his ceiling more as a high end #2. Which, to be fair, is exactly what we need since we already have MT.

But star? Idk.

Now, Chase? That dude will definitely be a star in the NFL

I agree with you.
I think they both could be there at 24
The people shitting on queen need to go back and watch all the games.
He is very explosive to the ball and can cover. It wasn't just the last few games, like some are saying

Alright i gotta ask....what has queen done to make you think hed be a first round pick?

Queen was hands down the most electric athlete at LBer for LSU last season. He was DMVP in the natty. Kid was everywhere.

He came in a hair over 200# as a running back. He had to develop a bit behind Devin White, but he was making splash plays everywhere last season.

He’ll be a stud.

ETA. Whoever downvoted thinks a prospect who posted 85 stops, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks, an interception and two pass breakups in 12 starts against likely the toughest schedule in CFB history, then flashed freak athleticism at the combine, isn’t a 1st round caliber prospect? Lol ok bruh.

I’m all for getting WR in first with Emmanuel Sanders and MT. Would be best core of receivers we have had in a long time and that doesn’t even include what cook can do in his second season here.

He was good down the stretch, but where was he in the Ole miss, Texas, Vandy and a few more games I can’t remember. The defense was putrid and I honestly don’t recall his name called those games. That was never the case with Devin White or even Debo at LSU. Like I said, he may turn out good, I don’t think he’ll be on those two’s level so I wouldn’t touch him in the first. Third round sure.

Watch the tape Vacherie Clown - aside from having great straight LINE speed and being a good blitzer because of his natural athleticism he’s isn’t that great

Queen had one great game on the biggest stage. He was invisible against Auburn and Oklahoma and only showed up vs Texas when rushing the passer. He doesn’t make plays on the other side of the line in the run game and isn’t a reliable or explosive tackler. Not to mention he’s still learning the position and isn’t a field general. I don’t know how you spend a 1st round pick on THAT kind of guy

Kenneth Murray is far and away the better football player.

He had 8 tackles, 1.5 for loss against Oklahoma.
