re: Shucks throws off his back foot..You know what that means.

**Just from watching highlights, and not actual film**
Looks like most or all of his back foot throws were with pressure barreling down pocket with no room to step up and deliver. The backfoot throws were very noticeable but also impressive by how many of those were so accurate and made the highlight reel lol

So many RIP’s going around on social media for this dude from Angel Reese to Antonio Brown, and I’m sure not an ounce of consideration for the other man he caused the death of.
Tragic situation all around, but goes to show how we as a society prop up athletes/celebrities/public figures over the “ordinary” human being.

re: UFC 313: Pereira vs Ankalaev

Yeah Alex looked off but also the first time we’ve seen him on his heels most of a fight so that should probably be the primary reason haha.
Curious to see how he bounces back after that. Hoping he’s back better than ever but I know he’s already up there in age so you never know. Especially with a nice blueprint out on beating him that doesn’t even really involve the takedown haha

Id have to rewatch the fight but I really thought Pereira did enough to take 1,3, and 5 in a very close fight.
I will say this, MA had clearer wins of rd 2 & 4 than Alex had (or what I thought he had) in the others.
I thought Poaton should have won the fight based on round scoring but I do agree with the sentiment of not rewarding the champ with an uninspiring performance. MA seemed to have more moments, was moving forward most of the fight, and surprisingly unphased by the calf kicks even after limping to his corner real early on.

1. It is terrible that a child died from a preventable disease.

While Armans record is legit, the competition is not that strong. he barely beat charles, and many thought he lost.
I feel as though Oliveira is the only other top contender who legitimately could. So not a bad controversial win/loss. Hoping one of these cats can topple the Dagestani

Yall act outraged that she has to “sleep” her way into being a sports talk show host.
I’m glad they hire pretty faces to sit around and facilitate/segway conversation. Who cares?! They aren’t actively involved in every debate lol

According to a Congressional Research Service summary, Dark Eagle is a truck-launched system that fires hypersonic missiles that can exceed 3,800 mph — more than five times the speed of sound. Reportedly developed by Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman, these missiles have a range of 1,725 miles. "They can reach the top of the Earth’s atmosphere and remain just beyond the range of air and missile defense systems until they are ready to strike, and by then it’s too late to react," the CRS summary said.

I thought I remember hearing/seeing that LSU had one of the better QB pressure rates across the country (or maybe conference?) and the safeties were STILL exposed at an unbelievably high clip.
Definitely need some improved safety play!

re: Have you been to a govt office? And you think they actually do work from home????

This whole work from home fiasco is only a big deal because of Elon’s experience with Twitter
I think non-government has issues as well. We live in a WFH era where the average lady can make a living selling average pictures and videos of herself to simps…

re: If only 1% of fed workers are in the office and gov still works, why push for RTO?
Posted by Shameless on 12/7/24 at 6:27 am
I work in gov, and had the opportunity to work with a couple different agencies recently. Two of the federal agency offices I was working with were atleast 2 days remote per week, each. One of those offices was probably a lot more than that.
Blows my mind. My agency is full in office lol

I’m not so sure that Jerry’s departure will automatically mean a competent GM if it’s Stephen.
Probably hard to say how much meddling there is from Jerry, from the outside looking in.
I’m sure there are instances of Jerry having strong stances/biases on roster and contracts

I hope the plan for Colin Hurley is to work him like a beast this off season to prepare him for what's coming.
Is there any benefit to having a QB of all positions reclassify and enroll into school a year early?
Even with a redshirt year, feels like a 16/17 year old QB prospect is a couple years away from physical/mental maturity (relative to college at least)

If you only read this board, you would think that we have the best position group in the country at like 3 different positions...
Not disagreeing with you, because it is true/funny…
But specific to WR, feels like there are so many guys on the roster who were track stars and/or blazing fast when being recruited.

Hit the portal hard and it’s time for Kelly to earn his money. No more excuses.
Felt like that was the case for year 3. In the current landscape, I don’t understand the “program building” mentality that gives coaches ~5+ years to get some momentum going as a contender.
We saw what Kelly built at ND over what, a decade plus? Some nice winning seasons but no big prize…

Reminds me of NFL rookie contracts before the CBA capped/restructured the way rookie contracts were done. Many 1st round picks busted out on large amounts of guaranteed money, relative to most of the league’s veterans
