would you like Kyler Murray if he was 6 inches taller and had a team first attitude? I would.

Drew Brees is a first ballot hall of famer and did not win the MVP. Daniels is a better passer now than Jackson was in college.

Can we really afford to trade up? If he falls to us, then yes pick him.

More like Kyler Murray is 5 ft 6 and Jayden is 6ft 2, but your broader overall point still stands lol.

It all depends on what you give up in the trade. JD will not be there by the time the Saints pick. The Saints will do just enough to have a sh!tty pick but not get anywhere at the end of the season.

Jayden Daniels is comparable more to Randall Cunningham as far as build.

That is a very good comparison.

Kyler is a terrible comparison. Besides all the facts already listed, Kyler is a selfish headcase. Lamar is probably the closest comparison. Lamar does avoid hits better which is what scares me about JD.

I wouldn't either (Though not for any reason you mentioned because I disagree with them all) But for the reason you should stand pat in the first round and if he is on the board where the Saints pick you grab him. THe cost to trade up will be too steep and the Saint need draft capital bad to help them out of the cap mess.

Having said that I fully expect Loomis to trade up for another O-lineman or D-lineman this year.

You spelled Justin Fields wrong. Cunningham was a good pro quarterback, fields is not and Daniels will not be either. Great in college though

He’s too slight of build, and he doesn’t have the greatest arm strength. He kind of reminds me of Kyler Murray honestly. I just don’t think he’s worth trading the farm away for.

Jayden put on 15-20 lbs of muscle in one offseason, lol. Jayden is around 6’4” with room to grow. Kyler is 5’10” with no room to grow. They aren’t remotely alike, lol

He weighs 210, Lamar Jackson is 215

Daniels May be a little taller

Jackson is also light in the arse. Jayden, however is more polished from the neck up

He just doesn’t seem like a pro style quarterback.

I would take that as JD5 is a much better passer coming out of college than Lamar was. You are reaching on this.

Well considering it is only 2/3s through the season it is way too early to think about the draft not even knowing when this season will end. We are not Carolina.

It’s a gamble whoever you draft. There’s just too many LSU fans that want him which raises a red flag. Draft a QB top 10 and I’m happy even if it’s Jayden Daniels.

He is a bit skinny for the league and there is always the question of whether the game translates. When every team’s defense has the parity that the NFL has, it is indeed tough to forecast how his game will look. He won’t be outrunning these guys like he can in college. But if he’s smart enough, I think he really might be Lamar-esque with more of a brain. If you have the option to take him, I think you do it.
