Honestly, if we can piece some innings together up front, Evans can finish a game from the 5th on. Which scenario gives us a better chance to win an SEC game?

We have been doing this. Bringing in pitchers with very little to adjust to.

We can’t hit anyone. That’s why you have to run an actual offense that helps you produce runs with guys that bat sub .250

Decent at 9th. I think you may be able to produce a run with him getting on ahead of Serna in the 6th or 7th spot. Serna finds a gap and Stanfield scores. Otherwise, 9th is ok.

Stanfield can’t bat in the top 5 spots of the lineup. He’s way too limited. Bat him 6th or 7th to bunt or get a walk/single every now and then

So many dead bats in the lineup. Need to give them a job to do, they are not successful just straight up at bats.

I think this is the best you could do to have balance with contact hitters, some power, and a few guys that can run. Also gives you a more athletic infield.
