Is that dude a legit insider? Everything the Warriors and Curry have said is that they don't wasn't to make a desperate or drastic move, much less them being at Defcon 1 and all options on the table.

If the market for Ingram is as bad as it's made out to be, the Warriors can probably get him cheap.
BI + Javonte Green for Wiggins, Looney, Podz
That seems in the ball park of both fair and cheap from a Warriors assets point of view if you consider BI an upgrade over Wiggins.

Wtf
Serious question (I don't want to argue):
Is the "wtf" because you think its bad value or "wtf" because you don't think Toronto would do it?
If its because you don't like the value then do you think that would be worse than 2-3 late 1sts?
Toronto will certainly finish bottom 12 and their pick could be closer to #6 than #12.
Even if you put Herb/ BI's value at (4) 1sts none of them would end up being a high end lottery pick in a loaded draft. (While you have another top 5 pick).
If its because you don't think Toronto does it then understandable.

quote:Extension? Hell no unless it is at a bargain basement price. As far as the 50/50 odds,. way for Spears to go way out on a limb there.
Marc Spears puts 50/50 odds on a BI trade and drops that CJ wants a new extension CJ wrote a series of articles for Spears his first year as a Pel, so he probably heard that direct from CJ.

Not sure if it’s been discussed. But look what the Bulls got for Lavine. Absolutely nothing. And when you look at his numbers this season, they aren’t that bad, he’s generally a healthier guy than Ingram, and he’s more of a modern NBA player.
I think Ingram’s value is pretty much Sato, Temple and a 2nd at this point, especially with the contract issue.
I’m not saying his value should be that low, but if we are being realistic about it, it unfortunately is that low.

BI is not an upgrade to Wiggins imo. Wiggins is a better defender and not going to stop the ball like BI. Plus Podz has potential and Looney is solid.
That's a very one-sided trade for the Pels.

Wiggins is older than BI and has had some personal issues. Podz has not shown much yet (seems to have regressed). Looney is a pretty deep bench player.

And what picks to the Pels? Why would you take Wiggins’ contract for nothing?

Then you just let him walk. He played hardball on an extension and tanked his trade value. Let him hit the market and a new reality.

Podz is starting to play better again after a shite start. I’d take him

If BI walks for nothing , does it free up cap or is this like Asik?
Posted on 2/4/25 at 5:02 am to Stamps74
It frees up space under the tax.
There is always a sign and trade possibility also, remember Brooklyn is the only team projected with cap space next season.

There is so much smoke about GS's interest in BI it has to be somewhat legit
Which should make us question his value, because they're a much better organization than we are

Here is the issue: its been reported that GSW has shown interest in like 10 players. They are trying to get a deal done and are looking at everyone. I doubt BI is at the top of the list, and in fact, he isn't because it appears they have tried to get several other deals done and failed.

They have asked for LeBron, KD and Butler. While I can’t say anything is off the table anymore, I think all of those are extremely unlikely. Were in on LaVine but that is done. I think BI makes the most sense for them, but anything can happen here.

This board will say BI, Zion, and CJ are trash, Jose and Hawk are unplayable but then turn around and say Kevon Looney is solid
