I am hoping that AD does the same thing that LeBron did after his last year in Miami. Look around at the aging, shallow team and realize they are capped out and cannot improve, and jump ship. I don't want him back here, but I want him somewhere else.

In AD’s case, I have a feeling that the pressure of being the face of the Lakers, as well as taking all the blame while LeBron gets all the credit, will wear on him.
Only problem is that I don’t see it working in one season. 2-3 years of it if he does 1+1s and he will bolt.

Can't imagine what incentive the Pelicans could agree that Pelicans allow the Lakers to improve their team with a max player. We're invested in their failure so why make them better?

I don't think they should get another max unless it's Kawhi or somebody absurdly good. I'd pass on Butler and Kemba and look for role players.
